Slovenia's rich culinary history has its roots firmly planted in both Italian and Austrian fare. The cooking portion of the tour will focus on organic farm (and forest) to table cuisine with an emphasis on seasonality and sustainability. After a few days in the picturesque capital of Ljubljana, the group will move on to the Krka Valley with its rolling hills, charming villages and farmhouses.
For two nights, the accommodation takes place at the Antiq Hotel set in Ljubljana. For the other 5 nights, the accommodation will take place at the Novak Lodge at Krka Valley.

The days on this tour will be quite busy. Nevertheless, you can always take your time to enjoy the scenic street views and their historical pubs. Shopping is also a good idea if you don't want to hike! On the sixth day, you have the options of hiking, cooking or visiting the nearby famed spa town of Dolenjske Toplice.
You can visit the Dolenjske Toplice town in the sixth day of the tour, and enjoy here one of its famous spa treatments. Treatments are not included in the package price.
