Ayurvedic diet (vegan) for your perfect health! Let us take a peek first into what is an Ayurvedic diet. Ayurveda is one of the world’s oldest holistic healing systems developed more than 3000 years ago in India. To boost your health and immune system, in an Ayurvedic diet, you will eat primarily whole or minimally processed foods and practice mindful eating rituals. This diet is totally vegan and uses only minimal amount of salt, sugar, and sourness. A famous Ayurvedic saying is, “When diet is wrong, medicine is of no use; when diet is correct, medicine is of no need.”

From curries and side dishes to soups and salads, you can learn fantastic Indian cuisines that contribute to your 5-a-day. This course is meant for any level. Detailed recipe of the dishes will be sent to you in advance. You will prepare 2 dishes everyday - not a strict rule - your suggestions are always welcome and Master World Holidays will be happy to incorporate.
The Ayurvedic diet is a meal plan based on the principles of Ayurvedic medicine, a form of traditional medicine dating back thousands of years. The diet involves eating or restricting certain foods based on your dosha, or body type, which is claimed to boost weight loss and support mindfulness. So let’s get familiar with the super foods mentioned below:
Veg. Thengapal (coconut milk) Curry
A rich and creamy dish fully loaded with veggies and dry fruits simmered in fresh coconut milk.
Cheera (spinach) Thoran
A highly nutritious and iron-rich preparation made with spinach and grated coconut.
Coconut Turmeric Rice
A vibrant rice dish with added flavors of turmeric – the super food with many health benefits and termed as ‘The Golden Spice’.
A simple yet tasty healthy dish made with coconut oil.
Fresh Corn Soup
An easy and healthy creamy soup made with sweet corn kernels.
A mixed vegetable curry in a spiced coconut sauce; a highly nutritious traditional preparation.
Puttu with Plantain
Made of steamed rice flour and grated coconut, Puttu has a unique taste and texture, which comes from the special container that it is steamed in. Puttu is served hot with sweet side dishes such as palm sugar or banana, or with curries such as chickpea.
Sprouts with coconut puzhukku

Chef Anoop David is a professional chef with an overall experience of more than 16 years in star-categorized hotels. He specializes in Indian, seafood grill preparations, and Ayurvedic cuisine. He has conducted so many cookery shows which have been covered by the media and got some newspaper articles, too. His passion for food, travel, and hospitality made him a great chef, a hospitality entrepreneur, and a good teacher.
This cooking course is conducted online. Master World Holidays is based in India (GMT +5:30), and they will live-stream the classes via Skype or Whatsapp. You can participate from the comfort of your home by just using your phone or computer.
