Course information

From curries and side dishes to soups and salads, you can learn fantastic Indian cuisines that contribute to your 5-a-day. This course is meant for any level. Detailed recipe of the dishes will be sent to you in advance. You will prepare 2 dishes everyday - not a strict rule - your suggestions are always welcome and Master World Holidays will be happy to incorporate.

Daily program

The Ayurvedic diet is a meal plan based on the principles of Ayurvedic medicine, a form of traditional medicine dating back thousands of years. The diet involves eating or restricting certain foods based on your dosha, or body type, which is claimed to boost weight loss and support mindfulness. So let’s get familiar with the super foods mentioned below:

Day 1

Veg. Thengapal (coconut milk) Curry

A rich and creamy dish fully loaded with veggies and dry fruits simmered in fresh coconut milk.

Cheera (spinach) Thoran

A highly nutritious and iron-rich preparation made with spinach and grated coconut.

Day 2

Coconut Turmeric Rice

A vibrant rice dish with added flavors of turmeric – the super food with many health benefits and termed as ‘The Golden Spice’.

Cauliflower Mezhukkupuratti

A simple yet tasty healthy dish made with coconut oil.

Day 3

Fresh Corn Soup

An easy and healthy creamy soup made with sweet corn kernels.


A mixed vegetable curry in a spiced coconut sauce; a highly nutritious traditional preparation.

Day 4

Puttu with Plantain

Made of steamed rice flour and grated coconut, Puttu has a unique taste and texture, which comes from the special container that it is steamed in. Puttu is served hot with sweet side dishes such as palm sugar or banana, or with curries such as chickpea.

Sprouts with coconut puzhukku

Low in calories and rich in fiber, this legume-sprouted dish has many health benefits.

Day 5

Pumpkin Erissery

Pumpkin - a low-calorie and low fat food rich in potassium is yet another ingredient in India's traditional cuisines. This sweetness of pumpkin and coconut will surely take your taste buds to another level.

Cucumber Mint Salad

A refreshing and simple summer salad with the freshness of Mint.


Health juices practiced in Ayurveda are taught complimentary namely Cucumber Mint Juice, Ginger Lime Juice, Gooseberry Lime Juice etc.
