The holiday farmhouse is nestled in the rolling hills surrounding the ancient city of Arezzo, which saw the development of the skills of many famous artist in history and Italian literature. Just 6 kilometers away from the historical city of Arezzo, the villa is accessible by car or by public bus.
The farm provides four comfortable apartments equipped with a private garden entrance. It's a lovely peaceful location with panoramic views over the city of Arezzo, where "on your leisure" you can relax at the swimming pool with an excellent glass of Chianti produced by MangiarDivino, or enjoy excursions in beautiful surroundings of the villa, with its woodlands and rolling hills worked meticulously with olive trees and vineyards that produce an excellent Chianti wine.
The villa is equipped with a cozy food court, where you will carry out your cooking lessons in a well-equipped kitchen and enjoy delicious seasonal dishes prepared by master chef with organic products of their own production. Enjoy your meals in the shadow of the gazebo in front of the pool with breathtaking views while sipping an excellent glass of wine. It's the best cocktail for a wonderful stay in the magical Tuscany.

Chef Fabrizio decided to create MangiarDivino to be able to pass on this traditions and give his guests the opportunity to discover his land with a cooking school and wine tours in the best regions and cellars of Tuscany, in collaboration with professionals, sommeliers, and magnificent hosts. Chef Fabrizio has a cooks certificate in Food and Wine. He is also equipped with medical fitness HCCP, issued after the courses provided by the legislature on the matter and after submitting a copy of his book "Engaged in Handling Food Substance".
Arezzo city origins are lost in the very ancient past. As the settlement grew, it eventually became an important Etruscan city, and was later part of Rome. Already in the 4th century Arezzo had become a Bishopric. It was occupied by the Lombards at the end of the 6th century and was strongly conditioned by their influence. In the Middle Ages, Arezzo was a free and powerful commune, often ruled by its Bishops who were Counts of the Holy Roman Empire.
The city was frequently at war, with Siena certainly, but above all with Florence and, in 1384, it was finally subjugated to Florentine rule. From then onwards, with the exception of two widespread rebellions in 1502 and 1529-30, Arezzo ‘s history runs parallel to the history of Florence and, later on, to the fortunes of Tuscany.
Today, the ancient center of the city retains all the fascination of its illustrious past. The principal buildings and monuments possess a wealth of Medieval and Renaissance art created by artists such as Cimabue, Piero della Francesa, Andrea della Robbia and Giorgio Vasari. Arezzo was the birthplace of the great poet Petrarch, and it became internationally famous as the backdrop to a widely acclaimed movie when some of the most beautiful corners of the city’s monumental center formed the setting for scenes in Roberto Benigni’s film “Life is Beautiful”, three-time Oscar winner in 1999.

Maximum guarantee on the organic products that will be used during your vacation, most of MangiarDivino's production. You will learn to prepare all the essential of an Italian meal with the passion for reviving Tuscany historic recipes while giving them a contemporary twist appetizers, bread, pizza, soups, homemade pasta accompanied by sauces, meats, vegetables, and finish with delicious desserts. You will be using vegetables in season from MangiarDivino's own farm or from local markets. All the others ingredients used will be purchased in the morning before the course, from trusted suppliers, to guarantee top quality and freshness.
During your stay, you will have the chance to taste wines Chianti IGT, Vin Santo dessert wine, and extra virgin olive oil from MangiarDivino's production farm, totally organic, with the quality of the past. All of MangiarDivino's products can be purchased with suitable packaging for transportation. Also available, are confitures and organic products such as truffles, porcini mushroom sauce, and other culinary delights from a local producer, strictly sealed for oversea transport.
Their cooking lessons are relaxed, fun, and hands-on. They take place in the fully-equipped restaurant kitchen of the villa, with everyone working in a group with the chef. As MangiarDivino takes small groups, up to 8 participants, everyone can really get involved. Chef Fabrizio with his skills and experience, will bring you all the passion for cooking and Tuscan tradition while creating recipes using fresh, seasonal ingredients. Italian food is simple but tasty, with ingredients that can be found mostly everywhere. Your chef, Fabrizio, will go into some depth regarding the history and science nutrition of each dishes, so even expert guests will come away having learned quite a lot. Let your host know in advance of your special dietary request and they will be glad to accommodate it.
The closest airports to the location are Florence Airport, Peretola (FLR) and San Franceso d'Assisi Airport (PEG). MangiarDivino can pick you up from the train station. The pick-up is not included in the price.
