The accommodation provided for this holidays packet is Casa Nicoletta Apartment located in Rapallo (Portofino area). The cooking session can be held either in the apartment itself (town of Rapallo) or in Anna's house and kitchen in the village of Cogorno (the same area, at 10 kilometers from Rapallo).
Spacious and bright, this is a 90-square-meter apartment situated at the third floor of a semi central block building with lift, situated on the hilly area of Rapallo. The apartment enjoys beautiful view over the hill and the sea, inside it is fully furnished in a refined but functional style. It can accommodate up to five people as it offers an entry way giving over a wide living or dining room with sofa bed, a fully equipped and modern kitchen, two double bedrooms, a bathroom with toilet and shower plus another separate toilet.
Two comfortable and sunny balconies, where to enjoy relaxation, complete the apartment. One private parking place is available in front of the block building. The nearest shops and restaurants are downtown within 15 minutes walk from the apartment, going down the main road. A private car is recommended to move around the area more easily also because the main road leading up to the block building climbs up for 1000 meters. Beaches are only 15 minutes drive away.

You will be accommodated in apartments in the hilly area overlooking the gulf. You will also be taught the art of the local cuisine and lead to experience this region through wine tastings, typical restaurants, and guided trips. Chance it, you will never regret it.
You will be introduced to the secrets of this simple but savory cuisine, while you prepare its typical dishes yourself. Each workshop will last three hours, either in the morning or in the afternoon, depending on the menu and the requests. In any case, Mandili de Saea will provide a relaxed, learning experience while creating the same atmosphere as found in typical Italian homes, also using local products.
Have real fun preparing Ligurian dishes such as Pansotti with hazelnut sauce, lasagna with pesto, stuffed vegetables, pizza with anchovies, cheese Focaccia, and much more. The cooking sessions foresee the active involvement of the participants, from a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 8 people, and will end by enjoying a tasting session or a real dinner together, wine included. The meals will be based on the dishes prepared under the friendly guide of the cook and enjoyed on Anna's cute terraced garden overlooking the gulf.
Two guided excursions of your choice are included in the price.You can choose among the followings: guided tour around Portofino area, guided tour in Genoa historical city center or guided tour at Cinque Terre. You can also choose to enjoy Anna's company who will make your stay even more interesting showing you around and sharing their Italian life style with you.
Italian from Milan, Anna mastered a diversified career as a sales executive secretary in different companies in her own town. After three years stay in Dublin (Republic of Ireland) where she picked up the fluency in English, Anna moved to Liguria, Portofino area, in 2003, she successfully managed her own B&B for 12 years, thanks to her command of the English and French languages, and her familiarity in public relations. After closing the B&B, she has been busy promoting the Portofino area and offering different initiatives such as holiday rentals and cooking classes held by herself.

Dinners and lunches will be based on your cooking class. Anna's cuisine ingredients involves fresh local products, such as fresh vegetables and herbs.
You may go swimming, trekking on the hills, horseback riding and shopping on your free time.
