Rooms are very nice decorated with Andean touches to follow the line of a Casa Andina. Located close to many stores and restaurants. Rooms and bathrooms are very spacious with comfortable beds and a good breakfast buffet, which includes an egg/omelet station. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant is excellent as the chains head chef designs the menu. The bar served great pisco sours. Many of our clients have raved about the pool and spa. The fact that the famous restaurant Astrid y Gaston that is just 1 block away is a plus.


Day 1: Arrival, market visit, cooking class, gourmet restaurant meal

  • Market Visit with Fruit Festival & Introduction to the Peruvian Cuisine & Free Afternoon & Peruvian Fusion Dinner at Astrid & Gaston (L, D)
  • Start your day with a visit to the Main market to purchase all of the food and ingredients for the class. This market is informal and a great way to experience a little bit of the Peruvian culture in its daily life. In the main market you can find the best variety of vegetables and fruits in the country, including exotic products from the "Andes" and the "Jungle".
  • In all Peruvian markets, "el regateo" is a common practice "asking for a discount and negotiating the price for the product with each vendor" people even ask for a "Yapa" something for free with your purchase, one extra lime or one extra potato. We will also have the change to taste many of the exotic fruits that Peru offers.
  • Immediately following, Have the best teaching chefs in Peru introduce you to the quintessential basics of Peruvian Cuisine. Our Chefs will teach you how to prepare Perus staple dishes and afterwards you will enjoy a full tasting of these traditional Peruvian dishes. This hands-on class or demonstration and lunch will offer an opportunity to taste the many dishes you learned to prepare during this class.
  • In the evening, you will once again be met at your hotel, and taken to Astrid & Gaston Restaurant for an exclusive Tasting Menu.
  • At Astrid & Gaston a 12-courses tasting menu dinner specially prepared by Gaston Acurio, arguably Perus most famous chef and restaurateur, at the best restaurant in Lima. Earlier this year Astrid y Gastn, Acurios 20-year-old Miraflores flagship, relocated to a new location nearby as part of the prolific chef-restaurateurs latest and most ambitious project to date Casa Moreyra.
  • At the conclusion of dinner, you will be taken to your hotel for the remainder of the evening.

Day 2: Excursion, gourmet restaurant meals, pisco tasting, pisco class, departure

  • Walking City Tour & Seafood lunch at La Mar & Free Afternoon & Pisco tasting & Amazon Dinner (B, L, D)
  • This special city tour will take you back and show you 500 years of history of Lima. You will discover the history and traditions hidden in every corner of the capital of Peru with a special focus on Peruvian culinary legacy.
  • Next, you will be taken to La Mar Restaurant, where you will enjoy a seafood lunch.
  • For lunch, one of the most popular places where to eat seafood in Lima. It offers the largest variety seafood with creative innovative dishes specially designed by Gaston Acurio. The ambiance is fun and modern with warm colors that make you feel just like home.
  • In the evening, you will once again be met at your hotel and taken on your Pisco Tasting and dinner at Malabar.
  • Pisco is Perus national drink and liquor so versatile that it can be enjoyed alone or mixed with fruits from which we make amazing Pisco Martinis. You will learn to prepare these new, trendy pisco-based drinks with exotic fruits in addition to the traditional Pisco Sour at one of Limas hottest spots Malabar restaurant.
  • Tasting good Pisco is like tasting wine, you will be able to learn about the different grapes and grape combinations that are used in the preparation of Pisco through a guided tasting by an expert sommelier.
  • Chef Pedro Miguel Schiaffino will present his new cuisine using jungle ingredients after tasting the most important varieties of Pisco. You will also learn how to make both the traditional Pisco Sour and a Pisco Sour made with exotic fruits.
  • After your pisco experience, you will enjoy a delicious, yet exotic Amazon fusion dinner, made by the pioneer chef in this culinary field.
