Great location and good service. A block from Larco street and within walking distance of restaurants and shops. Rooms are big and clean with comfortable beds. Bathrooms has excellent water pressure and very hot water, some have a bath. Breakfast offers a tasty buffet with a great selection of fruits, grains and hot dishes. They have a sister hotel which has a piano bar and a pool that you can use.


Day 1: Market visit, cooking class, gourmet restaurant meal

  • Market Visit with Fruit Festival & Ceviche Festival with Lunch & Free Afternoon & Peruvian Fusion Dinner at Central (L, D)
  • Start your day with a visit to the main market to purchase all of the food and ingredients for the class. This market is informal and a great way to experience a little bit of the Peruvian culture in its daily life. In the Main Market you can find the best variety of vegetables and fruits in the country, including exotic products from the "Andes" and the "Jungle".
  • In all Peruvian markets, "el regateo" is a common practice "asking for a discount and negotiating the price for the product with each vendor" people even ask for a "Yapa" something for free with your purchase, one extra lime or one extra potato. We will also have the change to taste many of the exotic fruits that Peru offers.
  • Immediately following, one of our chefs will lead you on this journey into the famous Peruvian dish, Ceviche. This class will give you the experience and knowledge needed to prepare the best Ceviche and all related dishes such as Tiradito and other classic fresh seafood combinations.
  • In the evening, you will once again be met at your hotel, and taken to Central Restaurant.
  • At the conclusion of dinner, you will be taken to your hotel for the remainder of the evening.

Day 2: Excursion, departure

  • Gourmet City Tour (B, S)
  • This tour starts in the charming San Martin Square where the Bolivar Hotel is located. The hotel bars Pisco Sour is one of the most famous.
  • You will then continue to the Main Square where you will see the Government Palace, City Hall, and Cathedral.
  • On the road to San Francisco Monastery and its catacombs, you will visit the Cordano Bar, founded in early the 20th century by Italians and famous for its sandwiches.
  • You will continue to the Parque de la Muralla (the first walled park surrounding Lima). You will end the excursion visiting Bolivar Square, the site of Congress and the building where the Spanish Inquisition occurred.
  • This is a tour specially designed for those who want to discover how food is part of our everyday lives.
  • At the end of this tour, you will be taken to your hotel for the remainder of the day.
  • Transfer to Airport
