Immerse yourself in one of the world's oldest traditions. Take a tour of a Provencal farm, learn how grapes are cultivated, and how wine is made. Stomp grapes in enormous antique oak barrels that are waist-high, room enough for more than four people and have a view of Mount Sainte Victoire. You will be regaled with harvest stories passed down from generations of local farmers and hear about the dark side of wine making.

Spend the afternoon mastering Provence's most popular pastime, the game of pétanque, also known as boules. You'll learn to shoot, score, and even cheat while overlooking one of Provence's most magnificent landscapes. And since no game of pétanque is complete without a drink in hand, the rosé and pastis will be flowing! The activity can be booked as an extra for 35 EUR per person for adults and 25 EUR for children under 16. It has a duration of two hours and it requires a minimum of 4 participants and a maximum of 12.
First, you will be taught the rules of the game along with a brief history of the sport. Then, you'll learn how to handle the boule, throw, shoot, score, and master the fine art of disputing a point. You'll play a competitive game of pétanque (with a glass of rosé in your hand, of course!).Your hosts will also have some homemade Pastis for sampling.The winning team will be presented with a commemorative trophy during an apero with Pastis, rosé, and traditional Provencal snacks (anchoiade, tapenade, mushrooms, and others).
