"Wow! What can I say? So many awesome points to cover, so little space to type! My wife and I booked a cooking class with a Portuguese chef to cover three recipes, a fresh Portuguese salad to start, the famous Bacalhau (salted cod fish) entree, and Pastel de Nata (Portuguese custard tart) for dessert. The day began with our host, Mariana, who so kindly and graciously had a private car to come by and pick my wife and I up from our hotel to meet at and cook at the home of Chef Pedro Sommer, guided by his expert instruction. Upon arriving, Chef Pedro met us at the door and invited us into his kitchen and we got our aprons on and started with a quick pour of some Douro Vinho Branco. We then quickly dived into the class and it was great, the salad was fantastic, the fish sublime, and the custard tarts were just divine as well. Chef Pedro was brilliant and fun to learn from! Then came the best part - dining at the chef's table! Overall, Mariana did a fantastic job in organizing everything and making the entire experience so memorable and fun especially for our first visit to Portugal. Too bad I can't give this more stars as I would without hesitation. So, if you truly want a unique Portuguese culinary experience, which has more cultural depth and significance as compared to other Iberian countries, book your adventure with Lazy Flavors now!!! They book up fast so don't delay!! You won't regret it."

"My husband and I did the pastel de Nata workshop and a custom Jamon workshop with Lazy Flavors and we could not be happier with how they went! All emails were with Mariana prior to the workshops -communication and working out the details was very easy. The day of our pastel de Nata workshop Mariana met us at the bakery where we made the most fantastic pasteis de natas! The workshop made this "complicated" pastry very user friendly and we'll easily be able to duplicate it at home. The following day, we met Mariana at the market for a private workshop on ham legs. We wanted to know how to cut one and about the different types of meat. This workshop blew away our expectations! We learned so much, sampled amazing ham, cheese and even some wine. Lazy Flavors offers so many more experiences and after the two we had, we wish we had more time to try others. My parents will be visiting Portugal in September and I've already recommended they book with Mariana! If there's something you want to do that they don't offer on their website, just ask. Our ham workshop was completely customized and 100% amazing. If you're into food, this is the company for you!"

"This company is beyond gorgeous! Mariana and Veronica are two lovely ladies who made our group trip to Lisbon even more spectacular. From the very friendly and quick communication beforehand with Mariana to the friendly experience during the trip with Veronica, everything was perfect! We made the Food and Culture tour through Graca and Bairro Alto on our first day during the hen weekend I organized. Most of us visited Lisbon the first time so I wanted to start with something which give us a first overall impression of the city and its culture. This tour is perfect for that! You get to know sooo many interesting details about the city and the best thing you get to know the food! It is a very chilled "sightseeing tour" with a lot of food stops. At the end we all were more than replete. We all loved the tour and specially Veronica! The girls even helped me with finding a caterer in Lisbon and made sure everything works out with her. The caterer they recommended (which made us breakfast on 2 days) was by the way amazing."

"So all in all, I just can recommend you this company for a unique and different sight seeing experience in a lovely city with two lovely and friendly ladies."

"I found Lazy Flavors via Instagram and I am so happy that I did! These ladies really know Portugal and are happy to share their extensive knowledge of the food, wine, and culture. They crafted multiple custom experiences in Lisbon, Porto, and beyond, for our group and each and every one was excellent. We visited an organic farm, where we learned how to make smoked sausage and had a traditional lunch cooked over an open fire. We visited a seaside village, where we learned about centuries old salt curing techniques and had a wonderful seafood lunch. We did walking food tours in Lisbon and Porto and everything we sampled was exceptional! Mariana and Veronica are lovely, knowledgeable and professional. Best of all, they really work hard to create just the right experience for your group and are happy to tailor it around your tastes and schedule. If you are visiting Portugal and love good food and wine, you absolutely need to schedule a food tour or excursion with Lazy Flavors! I can't recommend them highly enough."

" The experiences of this gastronomic and vinous tour company are extraordinary; made to measure, meeting producers, chefs, winemakers. Discover the authentic Lisbon and Portugal vineyards and wines. They have fully dedicated tours where what matters is you. Mariana and Veronica know how we feel at home. Congratulations, you are no longer a tour company, you are the company to hire. Do not trust the concierge, trust this company! "
