We had a private day trip visiting a winery, Wisdom of Life vinegar distillery, and Nemea ruins, including the Nemean games site and the site of Hercules' first labor. I highly recommend this tour as a great value, off the beaten path, and a good mixture of time with the guide and time to wander alone. Lovely area, lovely guide!

We enjoyed a full day of touring seeing the best of Mycenae, Epidaurus, and Corinth as well as a few highlights of Nafplio. Nikos was a knowledgeable tour guide and had much to offer. His English was good and easy to understand. We wanted to see as much as possible during our 1 day cruise stop in Nafplio and Nikos kept us on a timeline so that we could see it all and we did! I highly recommend this tour company!

Our guide, Vasilis, made our day in Nafplio spectacular. We were scheduled for a four hour guided tour of Nafplio and Nemea. Walking tour of city of Nafplio was informative. Vasilis not only guided us he shared his home city and country. We were able to take a peek into true Greek living, culture and history. Nemea, where 70% of Greek wine is produced is beautiful. The Semeli Winery is beautiful and produces some very nice wine. We bought several bottles. What a find! Although not scheduled our day ended with a traditional Greek lunch in an outdoor cafe owned by an acquaintance known by Vasilis. Lunch was delicious and extremely reasonable. Our experience truly exceeded our expectations. I should have known from the moment we met Vasilis when I confirmed our tour was 4 hours and his response was, "it's as long as you want it to be.". We made a friend that day!

We had the opportunity to organize our round trip of Peloponnese under the coordination of LandLife. Nikos by LandLife was very friendly and very forgiving to our special requirements. We had only five days leave from our jobs, so we wanted everything to be perfect! They made for us the best itinerary based on our needs and they booked all the necessary suppliers (hotels, transfers, guides, etc)! Everything was great! Thank you.

We had a fantastic two days touring around the Nafplio area with Nikos. He was immensely helpful with our touring plans and logistics before we even arrived in Greece. When we arrived, we were welcomed with his warm hospitality and willingness to make our visit as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. He is very knowledgeable of the region and provided us with interesting and unique experiences that we would not find on other tours. Our children especially enjoyed the excursion with the beekeeper and learning about (and tasting!) Greek honey. Nikos really went above and beyond to make our experience in Nafplio one of the top memories of our entire trip to Greece. We would highly recommend Nikos/Land Life Travel to anyone visiting the area – you are sure to have a wonderful time.

I decided to book a tour through Mycenae and Epidaurus by Landlife after reading the good coverage here on TA. I have to say I was very satisfied too. It was very easy to find their website and Mr. Rodopoulos quickly answered all of my questions. On a sunny morning in Nauplia, Mr. Thanos met me at my place and drove me very comfortably firstly to Mycenae (explaining and guiding me also inside the archeological sites), where the impressive Lions Gate grasped all my attention, then to the amazing Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus letting me take my time to enjoy what it was in front of me, thirdly to Palamidi Fortress back to Nafplio, where we enjoyed a wonderful view upon Nauplia itself. Therefore, I would highly recommend a tour such this and I still am grateful to Mr. Thanos and Mr. Rodopoulos.

We booked the tour through Viator and received prompt instructions and a map about where the tour guide would be waiting for us. He is very knowledgeable about the place and its history and adapted to our own pace and let us know in advance the times that we would have available in each site, so we managed to see what we wanted to see and we have now a much better understanding of these magnificent sites.

Our first stop was the famous Mycenae, home of the Mycenaean civilization, where we visit the famous Cyclopean walls surrounding the triangular acropolis, the Lion Gate which was the symbol of the power of the Mycenaean rulers and the famous vaulted tombs of Atreus

The next stop was Epidaurus, which is considered to be the birthplace of medicine. We wander in the Ancient Theater which is the most beautiful and the best reserved among all the ancient theaters and we are impressed by its perfect acoustic.

Finally we returned to Nafplio and visited the castle of Palamidi, which dominates imposingly to a height of 216 meters above the city.

We really recommend LandLife they are very professional and answer promptly any requests.

Just one little comment and its that would have been good to have a bottle of water given to us at the beginning of the tour as we had to walk for quite some time, not so bad in winter but very necessary in summer.

Hello! I would like to thank and, at the same time, recommend LandLife if you want to have a great, assisted experience in Nafplio. We had a bike tour with breath-taking views, a lot of care in organizing it, valuable information offered by Thanos, our tour-guide, professional photos at sunset and a very fun and relaxing afternoon in the end. They struggled to find the best solutions for the entire group, meet all of our needs and offer assistance through our entire stay. I would definitely recommend collaborating with LandLife again and trust them for whatever tourists activities they propose, because they are indeed professionals!

From the first moment we made contact and throughout the tour, Nikos was very accommodating and eager to assure that he would do everything he could to make it an enjoyable one. He arrived as scheduled with a clean and spacious mini-bus and a very capable driver. Througout the drive he gave us information about the area and answered our questions about the sights that we would see. It is clear that Nikos is very proud of Greece and its history. We thoroughly enjoyed our visits to Epidauros theater, Palamidi fortress and Nafplio. As part of a walking tour around Nafplio, Nikos led us to a restaurant that ideally suited our tastes and we enjoyed a wonderful and affordable meal. He maintained his enthusiasm throughout the entire tour. Our family of eight felt that the day with Nikos was a highlight of our week's trip and we recommend him highly to others.

I spent five days in Nafplio and the region around it and had a really good time. The hosts gave me a warm welcome and were very eager to make the most of my holiday. My opinion was important to them so we could together combine a package of different activities. During my days in Greece I went hiking, picked olives, visited ancient monuments and got a guided city tour of Nafplio. Since Im interested in food and drink many of the excursions had this as a theme. I saw olives being pressed into olive oil, visited an ouzo distillery, vineyards, a vinegar producer and a beekeeper. I also had a cooking lesson and two Greek language lessons. My holiday was at the end of November, which was still a lovely time to visit. I choose to travel alone and this was no problem. I can highly recommend the charming city of Nafplio as a destination and Land Life as a company. You get to see and know more than on other holidays and feel that youre experiencing Greece more than just the surface of it. Visited November 2014

My personal tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable in the history, culture and traditions of the city of Nafplio. He drove me around the town, gave me advice on what to do with my spare time and made the extra effort to get to know me and make me feel comfortable. Nafplio is a great town to stay for at least one week, exploring the local shopping strips, archaeological museums, ice cream stores and excellent restaurants. It is also popular amongst movie producers, and i was lucky enough to see a series being filmed in the main square! In my tour with land life, I explored the local Ouzo manufacturing facility and learned all about the history of how Ouzo was made and got to sample a few varieties of the local product. My second activity was visiting the Apiary (Honey Farm), learning about the bee life-cycle and how to manage hives. I also sampled a few different types of honey. My last activity was visiting the Stables (Horses) and learning how to ride a horse! Speaking with the locals and learning about their arts and practices was an unforgettable experience which I'll always remember. Land Life is a well organised company who treats their clients like friends of their own and will go the extra mile to ensure you are satisfied with their services.
