Casale CentOlivi is a farm founded in September 2016. The company is family-owned. They have an olive grove and produce a very good extra virgin olive oil. They also grow lavender, hazelnuts, and have a vegetable garden and several fruit trees. You can taste the products and spend a different day in an uncontaminated nature and be surrounded by ancient flavors.

You will stay in comfortable rooms with shared bath among 4 of you.

Program

Day 1

  • Arrival at Leonardo da Vinci International Airport (FCO)
  • Train to Magliano Sabina (Civita Castellana - Magliano Station) (shuttle service is available)
  • Arrival at the Casale CentOlivi and room allocation (breakfast included)
  • Dinner at Frangellini Agritourism

Day 2

  • Leaving for Bagnaia
  • Tour in Villa Lante in Bagnaia
  • Lunch in I Giardini di Ararat agritourism
  • Leaving for Castiglione in Taverina
  • Tour to the museum of wine and science
  • Tour to the local wine cellar, walk in the vineyard, and wine tasting
  • Leaving for the Casale CentOlivi
  • Arrival in the Casale, relax time, and barbecue based on local products and meat

Day 3

  • Leaving for Calvi dell’Umbria
  • Tour in the Frezza olive oil mill and in the Museum of Oil with the opportunity to purchase oil and its derivatives
  • Free walk in Calvi dell’Umbria
  • Leaving for lunch in Fattoria San Carlo agritourism
  • Guided tour to Ocriculum Archaeological Park
  • Leaving for Casale CentOlivi
  • Relax time and preparation of pizza dough
  • Dinner with pizza cooked in the wood oven of the Casale

Day 4

  • Work on the farm (it depends on the period): harvest of olives / fruits / vegetables
  • Preparation of jam and preserves
  • Preparation of home-made egg pasta and lunch based on vegetable garden’s products by the Casale CentOlivi
  • Leaving for Nepi
  • Guided tour of Nepi
  • Leaving for Civita Castellana
  • Dinner in Rio Coverino agritourism

Day 5

  • Return to the airport by train or private shuttle service
