"We're used to going to large all inclusive resorts in the Caribbean but this time we wanted a different type of vacation. We chose Ladera because we wanted a small resort with lots of privacy. It was everything we hoped it would be and more. Coffee in the morning in the plunge pool overlooking the pitons was amazing. We did the soufriere experience excursion as well. It was worth it. The locals are very nice and not pushy or pressure you into buying their products. The mineral bath at the botanical gardens did wonders for my skin. The guides at the sights were informative and took pride in their jobs. Don't forget cash for tips! I was surprised by how loud it became at night. The earplugs helped and I got used to it on the second night. It's all part of the experience. Dinner at Dasheene: The food was incredible. It was very pricey but after seeing how every dish we ordered was delicious we didn't bother finding another place to eat. Lastly, the staff are what make this resort a great one. Everyone was friendly and so helpful."

"After staying at Jade Mountain, we did not think that any other hotel in St. Lucia could compare in terms of location, luxury, nature, and views. We were ready to be let down by Ladera. But Ladera was not about to disappoint. Not in the very least, Ladera come on full bore. Its views were nothing short of world class. The rooms are beyond compare. The quality of this hotel exceeded our expectation by quite a wide margin. But beyond our expectations, Ladera deliver a world class experience."

  • "If you're wondering where they hid Paradise, this is it! From the moment I stepped into my room I was transported. The service was top notch (thank you Keisher) and the food divine, but really, it's the open room with the dead on view of the pitons and the sea, with private space to enjoy all day long. Truly a one of a kind experience not to be missed, if only for a night or two on Saint Lucia."
