    Ana Garcia

Ana Garcia is one of the most vivacious traditional Mexican chefs and teachers in Mexico today. The inspiration for Chef Ana’s recipes and hospitality grow out of her long, rich family history in central and northern Mexico. She has taken this extensive knowledge and incorporated it into a culinary repertoire that includes traditional central and northern Mexican specialties, as well as nouvelle Mexican cuisine using traditional ingredients in new and gastronomically adventurous ways.

"Best mix of relaxation, fun, and local flavors"

Not only was La Villa Bonita beautiful and comfortable, but the hospitality of the team and the community was incredible. Everybody is so nice and patient. Chef Ana was also incredibly knowledgeable and fun to be around. You could truly sense that she loves what she does, and this was demonstrated in her food, teaching, and overall service.

If you are looking for an personalized vacation filled with delicious food, good company, and fantastic views, this is the trip for you!

    "La Villa Bonita"

I was picked up at the airport by a very nice man called Andres, the ride to the Villa was beautiful with incredible mountain views. The hacienda owned by Anna and Rob is a treasure, beautiful landscaping and breathtaking vistas. The staff are gracious and more than willing to be helpful. The rooms are very tastefully done and immaculate. I was the only student for the weekend and Anna devoted the entire Saturday to taking me see how corn for tortillas is ground and then on to the market for our ingredients for the day and then we proceeded to cook for the afternoon. We ended the day by drinking a fantastic Margarita and eating Flan for dessert that we had prepared earlier. Anna is a very hands on teacher, you learn by doing instead of watching, excellent experience. I am going back once a year for now on, the town of Tepoztlan is magical and I highly recommend this culinary experience for all.
