During the vacation, you can do some activities such as sauna, hydro massage, Turkish bath, trekking, tennis, horseback riding, and mountain biking at additional costs.

Horse riding

The equestrian center was inspired by the lifelong passion the owners of La Casella have always had for horses. Through the center’s affiliation with Fitetrec-Ante, nationally certified academy instructors teach individual or group lessons to all levels, from beginning riders to advanced horse-riding trekkers.

More experienced riders may participate in organized group rides (horse trekking), ranging from one hour to several days, throughout the expansive grounds and surrounding picturesque countryside.

Foot trekking

Engage in independent or guided trips to explore natural, beautiful places within the fantastic valley.

Mountain bike

This individual sport requires endurance, bike handling skills, and self-reliance, and can be performed almost anywhere from a back yard to a gravel road, but the majority of mountain bikers ride off-road trails, whether country back roads, fire roads, or singletrack (narrow trails that wind through forests or fields). There are aspects of mountain biking that are more similar to trail running than regular bicycling.

Orienteering

Orienteering is a family of sports that require navigational skills using a map and compass to navigate from point to point in diverse and usually unfamiliar terrain.

Participants are given a map, usually a specially prepared orienteering map, which they use to find control points. Originally a training exercise in land navigation for military officers, orienteering has developed many variations. Among these, the oldest and the most popular is foot orienteering.

For the purposes of this article, foot orienteering serves as a point of departure for discussion of all other variations, but basically any sport that involves racing against a clock and requires navigation using a map is a type of orienteering.

Off road four-by-four

Experience off-road drive courses and activities on board of four-by-four vehicles and quads.

Rope course

A rope course is a challenging outdoor personal development and team-building activity which usually consists of high and low elements. Low elements take place on the ground or only a few feet above the ground. High elements are usually constructed in trees or made of utility poles and require a belay for safety.

The lairs of the devil

Approximately at 10 kilometers from La Casella, near the town of Parrano, there are the lairs of the devil, an immense complex of carsic caves dug on the walls of a gorge. Near the cave, there is a fascinating canyon of the Fosso del Bagno gorge, particularly, evocative and the aquatic slope, a real paradise for those who love canyoning.
