In the mornings, you are invited to attend Yoga sessions with Hara Soldatou who has been teaching Yoga to adults & children in Volos city and in the Pelion villages for over 15 years. After lunch is beach/ free time and the early evening is spent preparing a raw supper. There are plenty of other opportunities to help with the raw food: making breakfast, preparing crackers to dehydrate in the sun, foraging for free/wild food, and so on, but only if you want to - you are on holiday!
If you are on the raw food team, you will already be fulfilling your Karma yoga that the center asks of you.
After a gradual transition from a reluctant meat-eating childhood via a vegetarian adolescence to a vegan adulthood, it was only on changing to a raw diet in 2002 that Paula's energy levels rocketed and her everyday health improved. Please book your flight to arrive at Nea Anchialos National Airport (VOL). Kalikalos provides pickups from Volos central bus station and Volos train station (10 EUR), occasionally from Volos airport (22 EUR). Alternatively, Kalikalos may coordinate you with a shared taxi (50 EUR from Volos central bus station, 80 EUR from Volos airport).
To get to Kissos, the local Pilio bus from Volos leaves daily at 5:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. (1:30 p.m. in May, early June, and September). It takes a scenic route around the mountain peninsula before arriving at Kissos two and a half hours.
