The white truffle from Alba - the king of the local cuisine - will be the most important feature of several activities you can experience while you are staying at Cascina Massapè, a historic and charming manor house. Here you can enjoy in-depth courses on wine and local cuisine through visits to wineries, tastings and “it goes without saying” taking part in the traditional truffle hunting.
Cascina Massapè is an eighth-century building far away from any others and almost at the top of the hill, overlooking Valle Belbo: It was founded as a monastery and later it became the residence of the Balbi family who owned the land in the area. It has recently been turned into a pleasant refreshment place to allow you to discover the charm of the land and its incomparable products. There are two mini-apartments and three spacious bedrooms at Cascina Massapè: You can enjoy a stunning infinity pool outside the building where you will also find a large garden, open-air spaces with games for children, a farmhouse with animals and a private car park for the guests.
