Guests can arrange to participate in all the activities, such as horse back riding, the visit to the cheese-making shepherd, the hike to the waterfall, the cooking class and many more, during their stay.
The cooking class takes place in an organic farm restaurant in the Abruzzi National Park or directly at the guesthouse. ItalyCountryStay will drive you to the restaurant. The ride takes 25 minutes. In the cooking classes you will be making homemade pasta, vegetable dishes, meat dishes or desserts. Lovely chef Teresa, who comes from this area, will instruct and guide you. She runs the restaurant with all her passion. The restaurant tries to use mainly local and organic produce. You will taste the difference. After the class you will sit together and enjoy what you prepared.

Your holiday will take place in Perscosolido, Italy, at the foot of the mountains of Abruzzi National Park. The area is one of the most strikingly beautiful places in Italy; mountains, waterfalls, hiking trails, lakes, wildlife, and many interesting ruins, churches, castles and abbeys. Unlike most beautiful areas in Italy, this one is not filled with tourists.
You will be learning to cook authentic Italian dishes with mainly local and organic produce; and you will be having those dishes prepared for lunch or for dinner. Meals included are only the meals in the cooking class and breakfast every morning.

Flights can be booked to arrive either at Naples International Airport (NAP) or Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO).
From Rome, the easiest way to get to the farm is by bus. The bus leaves frequently throughout the day, even on Sundays and holidays. To catch the bus, you must go to the Anagnina bus station in Rome by taking the metro line A. The bus to Sora leaves from platform 10 and the price of a ticket is around 6 EUR. The station in Sora is the last stop on the bus, so while you are on the bus, you can relax and not worry about missing your stop. If you come by public transport, your host will arrange the taxi for you. It costs 10 EUR.
From Naples, there is a bus that takes you to Sora that leaves every day except Sundays and holidays from Piazza Garibaldi. Piazza Garibaldi is in front of the main train station in Naples. The name of the bus company is ARPA and the bus goes to Avezzano. Make sure to ask the driver to tell you when you get to the station in Sora. The ticket costs 9 EUR which can be paid on the bus. The bus leaves at 14:30 and the trip takes about two and a half hours. If you come by public transport, your host will arrange the taxi for you. It costs 10 EUR.
From Rome, you need to catch the train at Rome Termini station for Roccasecca, then shift for Sora. Make sure to check the train schedule for Sora before you leave Rome so you do not get stuck in Roccasecca. If you plan to arrive in Sora in the late afternoon, it’s recommended that you take the bus.
From Naples, you need to catch a train to Cassino or Roccasecca and then you can either catch a bus or a train to Sora, depending on the time. Be sure to check the train schedule in Naples so you do not get stuck in Cassino or Roccasecca.
From Pescara, you will need to catch a train to Avezzano. You may have to switch trains in Sulmona depending on the time schedule. From Avezzano, you can catch a train to Sora.
