See the best of Tuscany in 4 days and relax in Florence, drink some Chianti wine, visit the most famous medieval Tuscan villages, eat ice-cream in Cinque Terre and take funny photos with the leaning tower of Pisa. Our philosophy is experience Italy from a local point of view with interesting stories, fun facts and lots of laugh. One week before your arrival, you will receive the details of your accommodation in Florence. After arriving in Florence and meeting the team, they will direct you to one of the partner hostels located in the historical center of Florence where you will be accommodate during your stay in Florence.
Meet the Italy on a Budget Tours team by in Florence where you will receive a welcome pack with free city maps, information about the city and the tours included in the package. You will also be able to book your museum skip the line pass with us or any of the other activities we offer at a discounted price. They will then direct you to one of their partner hostels located in the historical center of Florence where you will be accommodate during your stay in Florence.
At 19:00 meet again your team at the office for an original and fun way to experience the city at night and the local traditions.
First stop of the tour will be at the bar rated by the locals as the best aperitivo place in town. Thanks to the great atmosphere you will try the Italian life style; seat down, socialize with the rest of the group, enjoy your drink and then eat and eat as much as you would like from the buffet of tasty Italian food.
You will continue then with an orientation walk through the city center where you will fall in love with the art, the architecture and the masterpieces left by the many greatest Renaissance artists for you to admire.
You will end the tour in one of the busiest streets of Florence renowned for the many bars where to hang out at night. You can stay there until the nightlife kicks or return back for an early sleep.
At 09:00 you will depart from Florence.
First stop of the day will be San Gimignano, a UNESCO world heritage site and the most famous walled medieval hill town in Tuscany. There you will have free time to wander through the narrow and characteristic streets of the village and check out the local shops selling the Tuscan delicacies. The guide will provide you maps and info for a complete experience.
You will continue then towards the Chianti region with its charming scenic views where you will reach an authentic Tuscan farm surrounded by rolling hills, vines and olive groves for wine tasting. Dont forget to bring your camera: the scenery is stunning!
After the wine tasting, you will head towards Siena but first you will stop briefly in Monteriggioni, the most preserved medieval town in Tuscany, for some photos.
Your final stop of the day will be in the historic city of Siena where you will be enchanted by the architectural styles of the cathedral and the palazzo communal in Piazza del Campo, the venue of the famous Palio horse race held twice a year in July and August.
At 07:00 you will meet with your guide at Santa Maria Novella train station in front of the pharmacy.
First stop is Pisa, home of the must-visit leaning tower of Pisa, the Baptistery, Campo Santo and Duomo di Pisa (Pisa cathedral). Here you will be free to walk around the square and enjoy taking as many funny pictures as your imagination can of the leaning tower.
After Pisa, you are heading to La Spezia train station where you will take the local trains that services the Cinque Terre (the five lands); Riomaggiore, Manarola, Vernazza, Corniglia and Monterosso famous for their natural beauty, scenic trails, spectacular coast line and sunny beaches. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes because there is nothing best than exploring them on foot.
Your first stop will be in Riomaggiore, the first village where, after an orientation walk, you will stop for a light lunch based on local products and wine on the Via dell'Amore, a romantic and evocative promenade hewn from the rocks falling sheer into the sea.
After lunch, you will continue to the next village filled with boats called Manarola for amazing photos.
Your last village will be Vernazza - where you will be free to relax on the beach, sunbathe or take a swim before returning back to Florence.
You will arrive back to Pisa at 19:00 or to Florence at 20:00 approximately.
At 10:00 check out.

If you arrive at Florence airport:
VolaInBus, the shuttle service from the airport to the main train station in Florence Santa Maria Novella. The bus takes 15-20 minutes depending on the traffic. Tickets are EUR 6 per person. The bus leaves every 30 minutes.
If you arrive at Pisa airport:
PisaMover bus service which reaches Pisa central station. The bus departs every 10 minutes and it operates every day from 6:00 to 24:00, including Sunday and bank holidays. The trip takes just 8 minutes. PisaMover bus service stop is just in front of the departure terminal check-in section A. At Pisa Central Station, the stop is located close to platform 14, from which you can easily reach the other platforms and stations main entrance.
Ticket price for a journey from Pisa airport to Florence central station is EUR 9.30 and it includes the train ticket from Pisa central station to Florence central station (EUR 8) and the PisaMover bus price from Galilei airport to Pisa central station (EUR 1.30).
If you arrive at Pisa airport, take Terravision bus, a shuttle service from Florence to Pisa. Tickets are EUR 4.99 per person. The trip takes approximately 70 minutes.
