During this holiday, you will stay in Hotel Michelangelo, located in the heart of Sorrento in a shared double room. Single room is available upon request for an additional cost. The hotel offers a special atmosphere and right environment for spending a relaxing and amusing holiday. Even if it is located in the center of the town, the hotel is a tranquil oasis. The structure has been developed around an ancient tower, dating back to the 60th century.
It hosts three large suites which are characterized by intimate and luxurious atmospheres. If there is no availability with this hotel or if you would like to have another hotel the total price will be on the booking request time. Pick up from your hotel is at 10 a.m. This culinary immersion and cooking classes take place in at the farm house on Sorrento hills. As you discover the timeless cooking traditions of the Amalfi Coast, you will make dishes with ingredients that include produce hand-picked from the organic garden (organic product), cheese, and meats produced locally, as well as fish just harvested from the sea.
Each of your fun and educational cooking courses on this Amalfi Coast cooking experience will be hands-on and will feature recipes of the Campania region such as home-made pastas, delicious sauces, delectable main courses, and real Neapolitan pastries and desserts. Foodie tours will expose you to the fascinating culinary treats this region has to offer, such as wine, olive oil, and Limoncello.
You will return home ready to recreate the wonderful flavors’ of the Amalfi Coast for your family and friends. After the course, enjoy a wonderful lunch together, all made perfect by the accompanying local wines and amazing view! Transfer back to your hotel about 3 p.m. or 3:30 p.m. with afternoon and evening on your own.
You will depart in the morning with a comfortable air-conditioned coach from your hotel in Sorrento to the Amalfi Coast. First, stop to capture one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world and enjoy splendid panoramic position on one of the most beautiful stretches of the coastline. You will arrive in Positano to visit the little town (approximately one-hour stop) with a profound artistic inspiration, enjoy some free time to explore this lovely hillside town, whose colorful buildings cascade down to the sea.
Browse shops, walk along the beach, or visit the church of Santa Maria Assunta if you wish. Then head to Amalfi, driving through the beautiful villages of Praiano, Furore, and Conca dei Marini. You will make a stop at Amalfi, the original town of hand-made paper production (two hours stop). Enjoy a typical Mediterranean architecture, made up of lanes and characteristic white houses piled one upon the other which makes it one of Italy’s most famous resorts.
Final stop will be at Ravello, a magic land as described by the most noted travelers and elected “A Spiritual Homeland” (one-hour stop). Enjoy unparalleled views of the coastline, with views of Minori and Maiori, from this charming little town. Visit the city on your own and if you are a fish lover, you may wish to visit Villa Rufolo, a 13th century villa with beautiful cascading gardens and exquisite views.
Your tour then concludes back at your hotel in Sorrento in the afternoon. Relax and enjoy the night at your pleasure. For this day, a round-trip transportation to and from your hotel to the Amalfi Coast, an English speaking guide, and a light lunch and a bottle of water are included in price. However, entrance fee is not included.
Few places in the world have a fantasy of myth and nature as Capri. A pleasant boat trip along the coast of Sorrento will take you to the island. Here, you can freely explore and discover Capri, walking aimlessly in the alleys of the center, reliving ancient times among the archaeological finds of Villa Jovis and a hike to Monte Solaro. And then, you will indulge in the wonderful view by boat around the island.
After the Salto di Tiberio, you will see the Faraglioni. It is said that all couples exchanging a kiss under the arch will stay together forever! Numerous fascinating caves, including the Green Grotto, named for the emerald water reflections. Among other destinations recommended is the Punta Carena Lighthouse, the second largest in Italy, the Blue Grotto. Entrance fee is not included in the excursion.
It costs 13 EUR per person as well as for the Natural Arch. There will be planned several stops for swimming and snorkeling. On day four, you will take a boat trip along the coast of Sorrento to go to Capri Island. You will also go to Salto di Tiberio, and see the Faraglioni. You will have a choice to go to Blue Grotto but entrance fee is not included. Last but not least, you will go to Port of Marina Grande on the same day.
