Vietnam has long been influenced by its proximity to China and as the only part of the country that experiences four seasons, many dishes are available on different seasons. You will enjoy interesting places, savor culinary delights, and experience diversified cultures and local tribes. This holiday is specially designed for you to simply relax and enjoy Vietnam's beautiful culture!
During this holiday, you will stay in a shared room at the beautiful Adamas Hanoi Hotel. The Adamas Hanoi Hotel is an excellent and new three-star hotel located in the center of the Hanoi old quarter close to Hang Than Street, Van Xuan Park, overlooking down to West Lake, the Old Long Bien bridge and Red River as well.
Moreover, with less than 10 minutes walk to Hoan Kiem Lake and three minutes to Dong Xuan central market, you can have easy access to restaurants, shopping areas, and historical sites around Old Quarter of Hanoi.
Their rooms are spacious and air-conditioned suites which feature lake views and a kitchenette equipped with a fridge, are fully-furnished with a safe, a flat-screen cable television, a minibar, and a seating area. The en-suite bathroom comes with a hairdryer, a bathtub or shower, and free bath amenities.
You will enjoy a warm welcome upon arrival in Hanoi. Your guide and driver will meet you at the Noi Bai International Airport (HAN) to transfer you to a hotel located in the Hanoi downtown. Your guide’s welcome speech will give you overall information about the city of Hanoi.
After check in, you will enjoy some free time to relax and then your guide will see you again for a welcome dinner at a local restaurant. Your first day will be completed by a water puppet show, a unique art performance in Vietnam.
After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will enjoy a visit to the local market with the chef from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. This day, you will not just only learn how to cook but also will understand more about Vietnamese culture throughout a course with a short movie demonstrating a traditional Vietnamese kitchen from 9:00 to 12:00 a.m.
You will learn the importance of rice and its cultural significance, the different spices, when and how are used, you will learn about the market, and of course, the fish sauce. After the cooking class, you will enjoy the savor of the meals prepared from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
Your guide will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi to take you to Halong Bay. Halong Bay is a body of water of approximately 1,500 square kilometers in north Vietnam with a 120 kilometer coastline in the Gulf of Tonkin near the border with China, and 170 kilometers east of Hanoi. “Vịnh Hạ Long”, Halong Bay, means “bay of the descending dragon” in the Vietnamese language.
Hạ means “descending” and Long means “dragon” in Sino-Vietnamese. You will enjoy a four-hour boat cruise to explore the World natural heritage site. Seafood will be prepared and served on boat. You will then be taken back to Hanoi and will be drop off at the hotel.
On you last day of the tour, you will enjoy plenty of free time at the hotel or you can do last minute souvenir shopping before meeting your guide for transfer to the
Noi Bai International Airport (HAN) to take your flight home.
This culinary holiday will be held in Hanoi, Vietnam. Hanoi is widely acknowledged as one of the loveliest cities in Asia, this one-thousand-year old city offers you its unique images totally different from other Asian cities. Hanoi still retains a small-town provincial charm and unique intermingle with a French legacy wide, tree-lined boulevards, parks, grand villas, and an artistic cafe society.
UNESCO world heritage site Halong Bay boasts a magnificent scenery of over 3,000 limestone islands jutting out of emerald green waters in the Gulf of Tonkin. The best way to explore and appreciate this vast area is by organised boat tours either cruise boats or traditional junk style boats.
During this holiday, you will be served three breakfasts, two lunches, and one dinner. You will also enjoy a cooking class and demonstration on Vietnamese cuisine. All meals will be locally sourced and delicious. Vegetarian meals can be provided with previous request.
During your free time, you may explore the location, visit some local places of interests and attractions on your own, or simply relax at the hotel.
