During this culinary tour, you will be staying in various luxury hotels. %In Delhi, you will be staying for two nights at The Imperial or The Oberoi. While in Devigarh, Devigarh Palace will be your home for two nights. On the other hand, you will stay at Shahpurabagh for one night while in Shahpura. After you day tours and cooking activities in Jaipur, you will have a comfortable stay at the Jai Mahal Palace for two nights.

In Agra, you will spend two nights at ITC Mighal. You will also get to spend one night at The Lalit Temple View. Nadesar Palace will also be your home for two nights in Varanasi. In Lucknow, you will be staying for two nights at the Vivanta by Taj. Lastly, Nidra by Four Points will be your hotel in Delhi on the night before your departure.

This tour has been specially designed in consultation with a renowned and celebrity chef who has traveled extensively with groups sharing his experience, expertise, and passion. The emphasis of this culinary tour will be mainly on Indian cuisines made from local produce at each destination. This tour is for discerning travelers who would like to explore the cultures and customs of North India as well as various Indian food. Day 1: Arrival in Delhi

Meeting and assistance on arrival at Delhi International Airport and transfer to your hotel. Spend the rest of the evening at your own leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Delhi

After breakfast, you will visit the colourful and bustling city of Delhi, a rich and historic city on the banks of the River Yamuna. Here, you will witness the charm of Old Delhi on a guided tour visiting the historic Red Fort, an elegant citadel in red sandstone. Then, you will take a rickshaw ride through the famous bazaars and the narrow streets of Chandni Chowk.

During the Old Delhi sightseeing, you can also visit the famous Karim's Restaurant, known for its kebabs and curries. Next, you will visit the Raj Ghat - a memorial to Gandhi. Lunch will be arranged at a famous Indian restaurant called "Chor Bizarre".

There will also be an evening cooking session at one of the chef's home or a speciality restaurant. Interested participants can join the group for cooking sessions. Others can opt to explore the markets and colorful streets of Delhi. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 3: Delhi - Udaipur - Devigarh

After breakfast, you will fly to Udaipur. Upon arrival, you will have a sumptuous street food lunch at a special venue after a small introduction to Indian street foods and restaurant.

Day 4: Devigarh

After breakfast, you will visit Udaipur's palace and museum. Lunch will be organized during the sightseeing at Udaipur. On your return to the hotel, you will pass by Nagda and Eklingji temples. In the evening, you will have a cooking session and interact with the chef. You can even take your the dishes you have cooked for dinner along with the prepred special Rajasthani Thali dinner. Overnight will be at Devigarh palace.

Day 5: Devigarh - Shahpurabagh

Morning drive to Shahpura Bagh. You will check-in at an exclusive famil-ran heritage hotel. The afternoon will be spent exploring the surroundings on your own or you can enjoy bird watching near the lake. There will be an evening cooking demonstration where you can try cooking some local dishes and then have them as dinner. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6: Shahpurabagh - Jaipur

Later in the day you will head to Jaipur where you will then check-in at the hotel upon arrival. The rest of the day is yours to relax and enjoy the picturesque surroundings. In the evening, you are free to explore the colorful markets and streets of Jaipur famous for its textiles, arts, and handicrafts and gems and jewelry. Overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 7: Jaipur

Today after breakfast excursion to Amber Fort- ascending on this majestic fort on an elephant back. Lunch will be arranged at a traditional Indian restaurant serving the local Rajasthani cuisine. Participants not interested in cooking sessions can opt for other sightseeing tours of Jaipur. Later in the afternoon, you will visit the city palace, the state of the art observatory, and the stunning Palace of Wind.

In the evening, enjoy a royal culinary welcome to India. Enjoy the two hours elephant safari with barbeque dinner in the countryside with local folk dances and entertainment. Overnight stay at a hotel in Jaipur.

Day 8: Jaipur - Agra

After a relaxed breakfast, you will drive to Agra. On the way to Agra, you will also drop by Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted city of Mughal Emperor Akba. Lunch will be at one of the hotels in Bharatpur. Overnight stay at a hotel in Agra.

Day 9: Agra

Start your day with an early morning visit to the world famous Taj Mahal at sunrise. You will then return to the hotel for the breakfast followed by the guided sightseeing of Agra city visiting Agra Fort and Itmad-ud-dula. The city is also famous for its carpets, soapstone, gold thread embroidery, and leather goods so enjoy the rest of the day to shop. Traditional Indian family dinner will be organized at a local's home as an introduction to the local lifestyle. Overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 10: Agra - Khajuraho

You will be transferred to railway station for train to Jhansi. Next, you will head on to Khajuraho. Relax at the hotel in the afternoon. In the evening, enjoy unforgettable sound and light show at the complex of western group of temple. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 11: Khajuraho - Varanasi

After early breakfast, you will visit the erotic temples of Khajuraho, known for the depiction of Kamasutra and an examples of fine arts and architecture. Later in the day, you will fly too Varanasi. Varanasi is one of India's most important pilgrimage sites and the holiest of holy cities for Hindus. It is one of the world's oldest living cities and has been a center of learning and culture for over 2000 years.

The afternoon is yours to explore on your own and experience local life and traditional cuisine first hand. Evening cocktails with informal talk on local Indian products where you can also share your views and tips. Later in the evening, you will visit the banks of Ganges River and join the evening prayers. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 12: Varanasi

You will visit the ghats of the holy Ganges. You will take a special sunrise boat ride passing through various bathing ghats and the burning ghat with special local music being played in the background. After breakfast, you will go on a city sightseeing of Varanasi visiting various temples, mosque, and historical monuments. %After lunch, you will go on an excursion to Sarnath, the place where the Buddha turned the Wheel of Law and delivered his first sermon attaining enlightenment. You may explpre the ancient city at your own pace in the evening. Overnight stay at hotel in Varanasi.

Day 13: Varanasi - Lucknow

After breakfast, you will continue your culinary journey to Lucknow, the city of Nawabs, famous for Kebabs and chikan embroidery work along with the traditional Mughlai dishes. In thee afternoon, you are free to explore the city of Nawabs or simply relax at the hotel.

By evening, you will have a simple cooking session and talk on the making of kebabs and biryani with the chef of a famous restaurant. You will also have a special dinner with kebabs and biryani. Overnight stay at a hotel in Lucknow.

Day 14: Lucknow

On this day, you will visit the 18th-century architectural highlights of Bara Imambara. Apart from that, you will also check out the largest vaulted chamber in the capital city of largest populated state of India called Uttar Pradesh and the center of Urdu poetry. You will also visit the Rumi Darwaza, a colossal, ornate gate which is a replica of the one in Istanbul

Lunch will be arranged at a local traditional restaurant to give you an insight into the local cuisines.In the evening, you will have a hands-on experience and cooking demonstration of the traditional rich and delicious Awadhi cuisine. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 15: Lucknow - Delhi

After an early breakfast at the hotel, you willproceed to the airport to board flight for New Delhi. You can then spend the rest of the day relaxing at the hotel or exploring the capital city of India on your own. Enjoy farewell cocktails and dinner at a famous south Indian speciality restaurant. Overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 16: Departure

On this day, you will be dropped off the airport, marking the end of memorable culture and gourmet tour of North India. Fly home with new recipes, memories, and a taste of the flavors of India.
