In this culinary cruise holiday, you will be entitled to experience river cruise along Danube. The rest of the time will your free time to explore the city of Budapest. This cruise takes you on a 1.5-hour long romantic ship cruise down the Danube showing you the magnificent sights from the river, including a delicious buffet dinner and live music entertaiment to bring you a complete evening program in Hungarian style.

The meals on our boats are prepared by chef Molnrka Pter, including various Hungarian dishes, cold entries, international favorites, vegatarian meals, desserts and much more. This is a perfect choice to try out most of the local dishes while listening to live gipsy music entertainment by three members of the rightfully renowned Hungaria Folk Orchestra, inculding the world-famous violinist Zsigmond Vidk (awarded with the Bronze Merit Cross of the Hungarian Republic). This cruise is a unique mixture of wine tasting and sightseeing.

In one and a half hours of cruising beneath the six bridges of downtown Budapest you are able to taste and try out a wide variety of wines on our ship, including the famous Tokaj wine. The program starts at 19:00 which means that most of the year you will experience the beautiful sunset above the Danube while taking sips of prestigious Hungarian wines. To have the taste better we offer you scones between two sips, and if we succeed to impress you with a specific type of wine, bottles are available for purchase on deck.

The capital of Hungary is a many-faced city. You can experience a wide variety of architectural styles in the different parts of it, each with its own story, its moving history and of course its present. The same goes for the time of the day during a trip. At night the city slows down a bit and has a completely different touch, a romantic, warmly illuminated town with the mighty Danube reflecting the lights.

"Organ concert at St. Stephens; outstanding performer with two guests (flute, tenor vocals). Covered Vivaldi, Bach, and others. Acoustics in church are phenomenal. Organ impressive and historical. Then taxi for a dinner cruise with excellent views, food, and staff. Really, could not have been nicer."

"An absolute gem of a find and excellent value for money. After a swift email exchange, booked on their website for a party of 22 for the 7 p.m. wine tasting cruise on a Sunday evening, which lasted 2 hours. Tasted 7 (half glasses) of Hungarian wine, which was surprisingly very good. Initially started on a smartly dressed table for 12 but graduated to the top deck of the boat, as the weather was kind, so that we could admire the view. It was gradually getting dark on the return leg and by the time we disembarked, the buildings and bridges were all lit up. Lovely Hungarian music supplied throughout by live musicians. Big thank you to our waitress, Zsuzsi, who was excellent, very amenable and very knowledgeable about the wines, although we kept disappearing upstairs for the view. She didn't seem to mind though and took it all it good spirits! Highly recommended. The wines are good value and the whole experience well worthwhile - especially at 20 EUR per person."

"We departed at 7:00 p.m. and it seemed longer than 1.5 hours, which was great! It was enough time to taste all the 7 wines. Honestly I expected something like a small boat, where people would be sitting like on a bus and drinking wine out of plastic cups and i thought it would be more sampling (1/4 filled glasses) rather than drinking, but we booked anyway. We decided if it was going to be like that, then we would just treat it as a boat tour plus wine sampling but it exceeded our expectations! Spacious boat (3 decks), good interior, table cloths, live music band, waiters, etc. The glasses were filled properly and the waiter tells you a bit about each wine. You can walk up to the top deck and enjoy the views of evening Budapest. The start time is appropriate. We had had dinner and to finish it off, we took on this wine cruise. Recommended!"

"We joined this 7:00 p.m. cruise with dinner after completing their grand Jewish walking tour which was excellent, by the way. We waited at their offices in Duna Palota and a guide walked us over to the boat a few blocks away. The Gypsy band string music was present throughtout and provided enjoyable atmosphere. Note that there is no narration of what you are seeing as the boat cruises. For that, go get an actual Budapest city tour. And if you really want to see the buildings lighted up I would suggest you get the later 9 p.m. tour offered after the folk concert. It was barely getting dark at the end of the cruise in May so during summer, I doubt you will see night scenes."
