On this cooking holiday, you can discover the authentic Procidas culinary tradition, the meeting between fishing and agriculture in such special dates, such as Easter. During your stay, your home will be the Hotel Solcalante, where Cerases family work, cook, and teach just for you. The hotel takes its name from the wonderful sunset you can admire from the terrace, from breakfast to dinner. You will be staying in a hotel room with terrace. Your home will be the hotel Solcalante where Cerase’s Family work, cook, and teach just for you. The hotel takes its name from the wonderful sunset you can admire from the terrace, from breakfast to dinner.
Arrival at the Naples Airport and transfer to Naples’ harbor, where you find the ferry for Procida’s island. In the Procida’s harbor there’s the transfer to the Solcalante Hotel.
After check-in, relax in hotel (you can enjoy the hotel’s spa).
At 19:00 pm chef meets the guests during a welcome drink chef Graziella will give you a lesson about Easter’s typical cake.

The second day begins with breakfast: cakes, pies, and homemade jam. Then everybody in the kitchen, to learn a meatball’s menu. In order to use exclusively seasonal products, please advise that the menu may change.
You will learn to cook a complete menu, pasta, meat, side dish, and desert. And then: sit down to eat!
In the afternoon all together to prepare Limoncello.
In the evening we go out for take part in the rites of Holy Thursday.
Breakfast very early, and it comes out to the rites of holy Friday.
We return to the hotel for a traditional lunch of fish.
We go out in the evening to attend the evening rites.
Breakfast and check out for “three day’s” program’s guests.
After breakfast: we go to the organic garden, where we buy fresh vegetables to cook together.

“Lunedì dell’angelo” In Italy there is a special tradition on these day, everybody had lunch outside. So we’ll prepare a pic-nic menu.

Procida, the smallest island in the Campanian Archipelago, has been chosen by renowned directors time and again as the ideal setting for several cinematic masterpieces. Of volcanic origin, Procida is also connected to the Island of Vivara by a narrow bridge. Not only the sea an important trait of Procida, but also its narrow streets and churches, which somehow pair the tranquility of the beach, with walks through the town center to admire the architecture of centuries past: worth visiting in particular are the Abbey of San Michele Arcangelo, which had a central role in Procida's religious and cultural history. It rises on the Terra Murata Promontory, with the sea a steep drop below. Two beaches that visitors should make every effort to reach are the Beach at Pozzo Vecchio (a protagonist in scenes from the beloved film Il Postino) and Chiaiolella Beach (the Island’s most frequented).

The spa at the Solcalante is composed of a hot tub with chromotherapy cervical shower and a small sauna. You can book for treatments during your free time.
Please book your flight to arrive at Naples International Airport (NAP). Hotel Solcalante will pick you up from the airport. The pick-up is included in the price. Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to the Port of Naples, where you will find the ferry to Procida's island. From Procida's port, you will be transferred to the hotel.
