The staff is wonderful. We had a slight mix up with our rooms and they promptly corrected everything. Plus, the hotel is very centrally located. No more than a 20 to 30-minute walk to everything. The rooms are nicely appointed - hot showers - A great deck top bar to watch the sunset! Just fabulous!

Hotel Ponte Sisto was everything we wanted in a Rome hotel. Walking distance of sights and from us, importantly the ambience of Campo di Fiori, Piazza del Pantheon, Piazza Navarre and Trastevere. We booked a basic twin room and it had plenty of space. The staff is friendly and helpful and the courtyard and rooftop are a huge bonus.

The hotel is 100 yards from the Tiber and Ponte Sisto bridge with gelato and patisseries close by. Both Campo do Fiori and Piazza Navarre are great places to eat, drink and soak up the atmosphere. Step out of the doors onto a cobbled Roman street, full of character and history. Take a look inside the closest church, it is beautiful and completely overlooked by tourists. The hotel currently have a happy-hour between 6-8pm 10 EUR for a cocktail or prosecco and help yourself to buffet.

This hotel is perfect for anyone wanting to explore Rome! It has a beautiful courtyard to "unwind" after your long flight. Rooms are extremely clean and comfortable, with a wonderful all inclusive breakfast! We did most of Rome on foot and this location is perfect for it near the Vatican, Colluseum, Trevi Fountain and Spanish steps! We really enjoyed it there.

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful time during our stay in Italy. We were in Italy celebrating my husband's 40th birthday. I casually mentioned this to the woman behind the desk and we were greeted with prosecco and a card about an hour later in our hotel room. What a lovely gesture. The breakfast in the morning was divine and a wonderful way to start our day. Finally, we returned to the hotel later in the week (we had gone to Florence for a few days) and they upgraded us to their top room with sweeping views of Rome. They said it was because we had stayed with them earlier in the week and the room was not booked, so they wanted us to have it. We were so impressed with Hotel Ponte Sisto from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. What a wonderful stay! I have recommended the hotel to numerous people. When we visit Rome again, we will definitely stay at the hotel - it is also very conveniently located as well with a gelateria across the street and a wonderful supermarket next door. Perfect!

We had a very enjoyable 6-night stay at Hotel Ponte Sisto. Everyone from the front desk staff to the waitresses in the breakfast room were very friendly and helpful. The room was thoroughly cleaned every day with plenty of fresh fluffy towels provided. We especially liked that the hotel was so centrally located that we were able to walk everywhere. We also liked that there was a small grocery store very near and a great gelato shop just across the street. If we ever return to Rome, this is our hotel of choice.

This is a very lovely hotel, situated about as perfectly as possible in the old section of Rome. Most of the sights, from the Coliseum to the Vatican, to the Trevi Fountain are within easy walking distance. The hotel staff is a delight; the rooms are very comfortable and their breakfasts in the palm studded courtyard are superb.

After a week in Rome split between two hotels, the Ponte Sisto was our hands-down favorite and place we hope to return. The staff at this intimate hotel are extremely attentive and helpful with big travel questions (like traveling to other cities) and small needs (like a plug adapter). We can't say enough about the thoughtful service. The location is perfect, on a quieter side street right next to the bridge to bustling Trastevere and a few minutes-walk to Campo di Fiori and Piazza Navona. Starting each day with a cappuccino and their generous breakfast of fruits, breads, spreads, cheese, cereal, pastries, and more (including soy milk and gluten-free breads) was a wonderful ritual. There are also great gelato and sorbetto right across the street and a grocery store down the block for in-room refreshments. Highly recommend a courtyard view--it's delightful and away from street noise. We can't wait to come back.
