Excellent service and well organized. Tommy, our guide, was very knowledgeable and provided interesting and informative commentary. He also gave an historical perspective on how the local food developed. It was well worth the effort. You will not be hungry at the end.
First of all, I don't write reviews. However, the private food tour that my wife and I took with Hong and Nancy was so fantastic, it demanded a review. Our hotel was in Da Nang on the beach, but we were able to also book a car through the tour to take us to Hoi An. The car was clean, new and with great air conditioning (a definite plus as it was pretty warm at the time). We were dropped off in Hoi An and met our guides, Hong and Nancy. We hopped on our mopeds and were off for a great time. The food was wonderful, the portions more than we could eat and Hong and Nancy couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. We truly felt at ease the entire time. At the end of the tour we were stuffed and exhausted but we took some time to walk around Hoi An before heading back to the hotel for the day. Thankfully, Hong arranged for the car to pick us back up and take us home when we were tired. It was perfect. Hong went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of from the second we left the hotel to the moment when we arrived back at our room. We've been lucky enough to travel around the world and we both agreed that this was one of our favorite traveling experiences, I highly recommend it.

My friend and I did the evening walking food tour with Nancy and it was so much fun! Nancy was very passionate about food, knowledgeable, and very kind. She definitely made our tour! The food was amazing and we enjoyed eating and talking with the locals. Thank you for such a great tour!
My wife and two boys, aged seven and nine, joined the evening walking food tour last night with Nancy and what an experience it was! This night was certainly a highlight. From White Rose, Ban Mih, and duck porridge to eating in the central markets, all of the food was delightful. Nancy was a great tour host, who was very knowledgeable and informative. To finish, we played bingo with the locals (which I won!) and had a nice boat ride on the river, making a wish with the lantern. Highly recommended!
I definitely recommend this tour to anyone who loves food and wants to try street food safely. Lucy spoke amazing English, so she was very easy to understand while she talked about the food we were eating, the culture, and the history of Vietnam. Highly recommend doing the walking tour.
From start to finish, this was the best experience I have ever had on a food tour! Nancy, our host, was superb and very friendly! We found ourselves being fast friends, which really made me feel welcome! She made sure to tell us the history behind everything we tried and answered all of our questions! This tour has all the local food you want to try, not to mention you go to a local family's house for the last few meals! The family was very kind and we got to try authentic cuisine and the herbal wine, which is drunk for good health. Priceless! You get a great feeling of the local culture on this tour; after all, that is what you ultimately are looking for: the local experience! To top it off, we played Vietnamese bingo and took a lovely boat ride on the lake, where we lit paper lanterns! Nancy was the best tour guide I've ever had. I highly recommend this tour, ask for Nancy!

This was a fantastic tour. Make sure you go on an empty stomach. We wandered through the back area of the town to key locations for a variety of food. Everything was delicious and I tried things I would never have tried before. Lucy was excellent and informative and a great guide.
