Unknown to most travelers, this tour will take you to thousands of stone urns dating back to the Iron Age peppered over hundreds of square kilometers in the mountains surrounding Phonsavan, a lengthy detour from the typical transportation routes. Scattered in seemingly random locations, some reach enormous dimensions and weigh well more than a few metric tons. Human bones, stone lids, and discs have also been found in the area. Such a unique vacation!

In the evening, you will be visiting MAG visit center office and Phonesavanh local fresh market. Visit UXO Survivor Information Centre to watch movies (if available). The movie selections include Bomb Harvest (4:30 p.m. show), Surviving the Peace (5:50 p.m. show), and Bombies (6:30 p.m. show).
After having breakfast at the hotel, drive for 35 minutes to Plain of Jars site 3. Site 3 has over 150 jars located on a scenic hillside in pretty woodland near Ban Lat Khai Village. The site is a 10-minute walk through rice fields. You will continue to Plain of Jar Site 2, in which over 250 jars are located on a town hill of Ban Na Kho. It is a short walk to the top of the hill and surrounded by the village, grassland, and beautiful pine trees.
You will also see Russian tank and whiskey cooking lesson on the way to Plain of Jars site 2 and 3. Whiskey village makes by Lao family income of sticky rice ferment over 10 days. You will also visit Muong Khoun, Wat Pia Wat, and That Foun (Buddhist Stupa). Moung Khoun is the old capital city of Xiengkhouang province. In the evening, join Xieng Khouang cooking class cuisine at 6:00 p.m., learning about local cuisine lesson.
