Testimonials

  • Review by a traveler

"We used HGH Travel Guides during out trip to Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam. It was essential for our trip, as most of the places (like Angkor Wat in Siem Reap) do not have audio guides or explanations in English. Therefore, English-speaking guides is very important! The guides provided by HGH Travel not only had an excellent English, but also knowledge of the history of all the places! I really recommend them!"

"We recently had the pleasure of visiting Vietnam. We enjoyed the tour and the visits you had prepared for us and were on the whole very happy with all the arrangements you made. Both the Anantara Hotel in Hoi An and the Grand Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City were excellent but we would not recommend the Silk Path Hotel in Hanoi. As for our guides, we would like to single out Hoang Hoa, the guide you provided for us from 22 until 24 January (Hue to Hoi An and Da Nang). Hoa was both knowledgeable and helpful and his competence and thoughtfulness were much-appreciated. We would be grateful if you could thank him again on our behalf. We can warmly recommend him as a guide for future English-speaking visitors. We also very much enjoyed our boat trip on the Mekong Delta organised by Mekong Eyes. We had booked their private houseboat, and although it is expensive, we feel the company provided value for money. The staff were excellent and the boat and amenities more than adequate. Certainly to be recommended for visitors who want to experience some of the real Vietnam in places off the beaten track and who value their privacy and appreciate some peace and quiet in an otherwise somewhat noisy culture."

"Our guide for our 8 days in the central part of Vietnam was Mr. Ngoc, who works for this agency. He is very well-informed about everything - Hue, Quang Tri Province, Danang and its environments, Hoi An and its environments. His restaurant recommendations were unfailingly excellent. He tailored every part of our stay to our interests and was able to figure out a way to do everything we wanted, using some sort of special influence to get us into places otherwise inaccessible and getting us confirmed on a flight we almost missed because we had to go back to our hotel to retrieve my iPhone which I had left. And on top of it all, he is wonderful company, has a lively sense of humor and we missed him when we left!"
