Along with exploring new cultures, one of the great joys of travel is the discovery of new cuisines. Those unfamiliar with Vietnamese food are in for a treat, as the national cuisine is flavorful, colorful and extremely healthy. Youll get a taste of both Vietnams incredible cuisine and culture with our carefully planned itinerary that combines cooking classes, visits to the best restaurants the country has to offer, and tours of must-see sites in central region.
The accommodation is arranged in superior rooms of 3-star hotels at both the locations:
Hue: Duy Tan Hotel
Hoi An: Kim An Hotel
On arrival at Hue airport, your driver will welcome you and take you to the hotel. You will spend overnight at Hue city.
In the morning, our local guide will pick you up from hotel in Hue, the former imperial capital of Vietnam.
First, we will drop by at Dong Ba market to explore the daily life of local people and see how they sell something.
After a leisurely morning, we will enjoy a dragon boat trip on the romantically named Perfume River.
We will then visit Hues best-known religious sites Thien Mu Pagoda, which is located on the southwest bank of the river. Here we see the car that took the senior Buddhist monk, Quang Duc, to Saigon, where he immolated himself. The car, a British Austin, is memorialized as a holy sight. We will continue visiting Thien Mu pagoda. The car will pick us up from here to discover Imperial Citadel from where the Nguyens Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945 including Flag Tower, Noon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace and Forbidden Purple City.
In the afternoon, we will have lunch at real local restaurant in a beautiful garden setting.
We will continue with a visit to the elaborate tombs of emperors Minh Mang and Khai Dinh. This guided tour gives you a deep understanding about Kings philosophy of geomancy and how this affected royal life.
Hue food tour at night. This will happen on a bike and departure is at 5.30 p.m. During the tour, we will stop at many local stores to enjoy a lot of Hue local foods such as Hue pancake (banh khoai), Hue beef vermicelli soup (bun bo Hue), filtered tapioca dumplings (banh bot loc), literal water fern cake (banh beo), steamed shrimp rice cake (ban nam), sticky rice dumplings on a fried dumpling (banh ram it), and grilled chopped meat (Nem Lui ).

This will happen by private transfer only. You will depart from Hue and travel to the rapidly growing city of Da Nang.
Along the way, you will have the opportunity to stop en route to take pictures at the summit of Lang Co Beach, Hai Van Pass.
Finally, you will head to Hoi An, another UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site.
Check in to your hotel and spend the night at Hoi An.
Hoi An, an evening food tour. We will depart at 5 p.m. Zip off the usual tourist trail, and straight into foodie heaven. A local food-loving guide will uncover hidden treasures and snacks favored by locals, such as white rose, bread, sweet soup. Next, we will go to Hoi Ans local market and wander around the food stalls, where you might find amazing Cao Lau noodles and much more. Next, we will taste Vietnamese coffee. After all this, we will head to the heart of Hoi An ancient town, sit on authentic boat on Hoai river in the evening and release flower garlands like a local. You also listen to interesting daily stories from boatmen. If the weather is good, we will play traditional folk games like Bai Choi (Bingo game), Dap Nieu (blindfolded game). After the tour, you will have the option to return to your hotel or retire to Pub Street, where you can experience Hoi An bar life.

We welcome you to the hotels lobby.
Today, we will ride a bicycle to Hoi Ans colorful central market. Here you will have the opportunity to interact with the local sellers and learn about the ingredients to be used in the cooking lesson later. So make sure your camera is handy.
We will then bike to Tra Que vegetable village. After a welcome drink for taking rest, we will walk through the vegetable gardens where local farmers work on their fields, using traditional methods from hundreds of years ago without any electrical machinery.
Go to the restaurant and work with the chef. Learn the traditional ways of preparing and cooking Vietnamese food. After the lesson, enjoy what you have cooked.
