In the morning, you will take a nice dragon boat trip on the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda. After that, you will take a bike ride to the Citadel Complex of Hue which was built up and operated in the Nguyen Dynasty from 1805 to 1945. It is currently among the most important relics of the Hue ancient capital, a World Cultural Heritage.

You will then start biking to the villages on the green shaded roads, passing by the communal houses along the rivers, canals, and through the rice fields to the first stop in Thanh Thuy Chanh village, Thanh Toan Bridge, and an agricultural museum. You will have lunch at Thanh Toan Eco restaurant. After visiting Thanh Toan, you will continue biking to Khai Dinh Tomb, a memorial of the 12th king of the Nguyen Dynasty. Unlike Hue’s other tombs, the grandiose and concrete structure, built between 1920 and 1931, is a synthesis of Vietnamese and European elements. Even the stony faces of the mandarin honor guards are endowed with a mixture of both features. Thereafter, your bike will be picked up by the truck and you will be transferred by car back to your hotel. Lunch will be provided.

Day 2: Hue to Hoi An and one day Tam Giang lagoon ride (37 miles / 60 kilometers)

You will ride past rice fields, fishing villages, and the lagoon. You will keep riding on uphill to Phuoc Tuong Pass and stop for lunch at Lang Co Beach. You will warm up before you pedal uphill to the top of Hai Van Pass. In the late afternoon, you will take a short transfer to Hoi An where you will stay overnight. Your guide, mechanic, and driver will see you off at your hotel.

Day 3: Cam Kim Island discover (9 miles / 15 kilometers)

No island is more beautiful than Cam Kim and your adventure will start with a short boat trip crossing the river from Hoi An. During the tour, you will visit a number of families who make delicious my Quang noodles, homemade rice wine, and weave colorful straw sleeping mats.

You will have plenty of time to chat with them and ask questions to learn about their history, local customs, and way of life. You will also enjoy lunch cooked by the family to experience the real taste of Hoi An.
