You will spend a night on the Legacy Legend Cruise while sailing through the Halong Bay and one night traveling towards Lao Cai, in a first class sleeper train with shared cabins and four berths. Tam Coc means three caves in Vietnamese and is considered as "Halong Bay on land", sitting on a boat rowed by a local lady and sailing across river Hoang Long, you will get to see the first limestone mountains running along their river for several kilometers.

Cuc Phuong National Park is located 100-kilometers south of Hanoi in the Ninh Binh province. The park is conveniently located on the route to several tourist attractions, including Bich Dong Pagoda, Hoa Lu, and Sam Son beach. It was officially opened in 1960 as the first national park in Vietnam.
Cuc Phuong National Park is surrounded by several limestone cliffs, the highest being May Bac, meaning “silver cloud,” with a height of 656-meters. There are plenty of plants and mammals living in the park. There are an estimated 2,000-different species of flora and about 450-species of fauna that accounts for 38 percent of the national fauna of Vietnam.

Hoa Lu was the capital city of Vietnam under the Dinh Dynasty between 968 and 980 AD and ancient sanctuaries and tombs can still be seen today. In 968, Dinh Bo Linh declared himself as the king and since then Hoa Lu existed as the capital for the next 41-years (968 - 1009).
For 12-years it was ruled by the Dinh dynasty and for remaining 29-years it was ruled by the Le dynasty. In 1010, King Ly Thai moved the capital from Hoa Lu to Thang Long which is present day Hanoi.
