Day 1: Arrival

Arrival at Napoli train station (Napoli Stazione Centrale) or Napoli airport (Capodichino). When you arrive at the airport or train station, look for someone with a smile holding a Green Paradise sign with your name. He will accompany you with your luggage to your private car and then leave for the Sorrento Peninsula with a brief stop for a zesty lemon liqueur tasting and an espresso coffee.

You will then continue to your accommodation destination at the Green Paradise B&B in a local neighborhood of Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi, located between the two gulfs in the Sorrento Peninsula. It is a village with a spectacular view of the Gulf of Napoli and Salerno.

In the evening, you will be offered by the owners of the Green Paradise B&B a welcome dinner in a family atmosphere where you can taste genuine Mediterranean dishes prepared daily by Maria (the owner).

Day 2: Positano, Amalfi Coast, and Ravello tour

Start the day with a continental breakfast with the flavors of typical products prepared with love. Then be ready to leave for the Amalfi Coast tour with a total duration of eight hours. The tour will start at 9 a.m. A private English-speaking driver will come and pick you up at the appointed time at the Green Paradise B&B to take you through the spectacular natural highlights of the Sorrentine Peninsula and the Amalfi Coast.

The coastal road is one of the marvels of the Italian scenery - citrus groves, vineyards, and olive groves that softly pour down the slopes towards the sea, the roads follow the tortuous coastline, where curve after curve opens up incredible views of the Gulf of Naples, Vesuvius Capri, and the Gulf of Salerno. You will continue along the Amalfi Coast, one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world. The scenery is characterized by mighty cliffs that drop in the sea, rich with bays and coves, winding and colorful.

You will visit the enchanting Positano. The town develops vertically. The pastel-colored houses are characterized by arched porticos that give onto the sea. You will have the opportunity to walk through the narrow streets that run downhill towards the main beach. From here there is a beautiful view of the sea, as well as of the town as it clambers up the mountainside. In the main square of Positano is the parish church of Santa Maria Assunta famous for its colored majolica cupola visible from all over the town.

You then continue along the coastline enjoying the flora and fauna, an area full of color against the contrasting blue and emerald sea. On arrival at Amalfi, you have the opportunity to visit the famous Saint Andrew’s Cathedral (ninth century). Its scenic position at the top of steep stairs gives a particular flavor to Amalfi’s historic center. In the serene blue of the sky and sea, Amalfi, guarded by its port, seems held in the palm of a hand.

You then continue to the elegant resort of Ravello, a town of natural beauty, exotic plants, and a relaxing atmosphere. Here you can have a traditional and delicious lunch at a restaurant with stunning panoramic views and also visit the spectacular 13th-century Villa Rufolo. No photographs or postcards can capture the true beauty of this trip, the only way is to witness it by yourself.

Day 3: Special enogastronomic tour

The tour is structured this way:

Olive oil and lemons guided tour of a historic citrus grove (registered as a producer of lemon and olive oil), with a taste of the products: homemade lemonade, lemon slices with sugar, lemon and orange marmalade on a rusk, and extra virgin olive oil, lemon and orange-scented olive oil on a slice of homemade bread.

Provolone and mozzarella making guided farm tour (registered as a producer of provolone del Monaco DOP) and making of mozzarella cheese and caciottine, then a taste of salami of their own production and provolone del Monaco. All served with a good glass of local wine. The milk used for the production of cheese comes from high-quality cows, such as Agerolese, Frizzone, and Pezzata Antica breeds.

Pizza making show tour - Guests will receive an explanation on the making of the typical Neapolitan pizza and will try to make one out of the dough balls kneaded in the morning. Then, wine, dessert, and coffee.

Limoncello time - Finally you will walk back to the historic citrus grove to taste limoncello as a digestif and then an explanation on the family recipe after the enogastronomic tour is over. Visit Sorrento, a quiet, enjoyable, and charming place, famous for its mild climate, the perfume of its gardens, and the panoramic terraces that give on the sea. The city sits high above the sea on an imposing tuff outcrop with deep gorges. The houses are immersed in luxuriant green and surrounded by groves of olive, lemon, and orange trees.

Day 4: Capri shared tour

Tour details: starting from the Green Paradise B&B at 8 a.m, you will be led to the port of Massa Lubrense, where you will begin the excursion and guided day tour on motorboat Nerano to Capri. Once onboard, it will take about 45 minutes to land on the coast of Capri Island. Here, you will have the chance to get off the boat and visit the island for six hours, enjoying a lemonade, going shopping, or eating a bite.

At 3:55 p.m., all aboard, the tour will start again and will give you the chance to admire a succession of natural beauties such as the striking Green Grotto, the lighthouse at Punta Carena, the Faraglioni, the Natural Arch overlooking the sea, and the characteristic White Cave. Then at 5:30 p.m., you will return to the port, and the driver will be there waiting for you to return to the Villa Green Paradise B&B.

Day 5: Pompeii and vineyard tour

Vesuvius, the islands of Capri, Ischia, and Procida till you reach Pompeii. This full-day tour is designed to combine visiting the archaeological site and vineyards, as well as to try the food specialties accompanied by the famous wine of Mount Vesuvius.

The first stop will be in Pompeii, where you will spend two hours visiting this famous Roman town. Here Green Paradise B&B can also arrange for you a licensed guide that will be helpful to get more information. Then you will be driven up to the winery where you will visit the vineyards and also have lunch, tasting the food specialties of the region with the famous wine of Mount Vesuvius.

After having a tasting menu, you will return to Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi, where you have free time during the evening to visit the village and organize dinner in a locally famous restaurant to taste the typical Mediterranean cuisine.

Day 6: Departure and Naples sightseeing tour

Today is the day of departure from Green Paradise B&B to Napoli airport or Napoli train station. You will cross the sunny Bay of Naples and along the road, you will see the island of Procida and Ischia, and not far towards your south, the Island of Capri. You will visit the city of Naples for as long as you have available. Before you leave the city, see the wonderful postcard view from the hilltop of Posilipo, which gives you a 360-degree view of the city.

Naples is considered one of Italy's most beautiful cities and one of the cities that offers a complete picture of an Italian city. If you have enough time, you can visit the historical part where you can enjoy the Royal Palace area and the Gallery Umberto, Piazza Municipio, Piazza Trieste e Trento, the view of the Maschio Angioino, San Carlo Opera House, and Piazza del Gesù. Included excursions

  • Positano, Amalfi Coast, and Ravello tour
  • Sorrento tour
  • Capri shared tour
  • Pompeii and vineyard tour
  • Naples sightseeing tour
  • Special enogastronomic tour

Your accommodation, the Green Paradise B&B, is located in a local neighborhood of Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi, located between the two gulfs in the Sorrento Peninsula. A village with a spectacular view of the Gulf of Napoli and Salerno. You will also visit Positano, Amalfi Coast, Ravello, Sorrento, Capri, Pompeii, and Naples.

Massa Lubrense

Sun, sea, and tradition are the perfect cocktail for those who want a relaxing holiday. Massa Lubrense is the ideal destination, rich in history and flavors. Touched by the sea for about 20 kilometers by the Gulf of Naples and the Gulf of Salerno, Massa Lubrense offers beaches and pristine bays on both sides.

Massa Lubrense is a natural oasis with lots of walking among ancient farmhouses, archaeological areas, towers, Mediterranean vegetation, and breathtaking views. More than 100 kilometers of trails run through the whole territory, touching all its 18 hamlets and the most pristine places. All trails are marked and reported in special maps.

On the whole area, you can see long stretches of olive and lemon groves, giving an intense scent to this country. The festival of lemon takes place during the summer in Massa Centro, giving the opportunity to taste local products made from lemon.

Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi

Sant’Agata sui Due Golfi (on the Two Gulfs) owes its name to its privileged hilltop location, between the Gulf of Naples and the Gulf of Salerno. The view of the “Two Gulfs” can be observed from the viewpoint of the monastery situated on the hill called Il Deserto, a short walk from the center of the village. Just downstream from this hill, in the area called Vadabillo, a vast necropolis came to light, with many tuff sarcophagi of the seventh and sixth centuries BC.

Sant’Agata sui Due Golfi is a tourist destination since the 19th century, thanks in part to its scenic location, but also for its well-known mild climate and healthy air. It overlooks the island of Capri and the islands of Li Galli. The perfect starting point to the Amalfi Coast, from Sant’Agata sui Due Golfi it is also possible to take many paths to Sorrento, Massa Lubrense, and the Fjord of Crapolla. Also, the panoramic Sirenuse Trail starts here.

At any time of the year, Sorrento is a veritable treasure trove of beauty. For its nature, history, and legends, it is visited every year by thousands of tourists. Sorrento is a town with breathtaking landscape beauty. Steep on the sea, rich in historical and architectural beauties, Sorrento has always been a tourist destination of excellence, frequented by visitors on the Grand Tour and then by elite holidaymakers in the 19th century.

It is still that charming destination for those who wish to relax in a unique atmosphere: sun, sea, characteristic lanes full of shops, churches, museums, and monuments. The best way to get to know Sorrento is to get a little lost and wander around admiring the postcard-perfect views, browsing here and there, and walking down to the fishing village of Marina Grande or to the port of Marina Piccola.

Positano seems to be standing, leaning against the jagged mountain rock face, with many multicolored houses that seem to be built in a single cluster, all on top of each other. The town is very unique and incredibly attractive, capable of attracting attention to many visitors. It is the kingdom of many flights of little steps, of narrow passageways enlivened and colored by wonderful shops, lively bars and cafes, and restaurants that specialize in seafood.

Amalfi Drive

Amalfi Drive is said to be one of the most spectacular roads in Europe and from Sorrento, the winding cliff-top road offers breathtaking panoramic views from every bend. Amalfi, now a thriving holiday resort, was once a powerful and prosperous marine republic and homeland of Flavio Gioia, the inventor of the compass.

Ravello was an important town of the Maritime Republic of Amalfi, an important trading power in the Mediterranean between 839 and around 1200. Places to visit include Villa Rufolo, Villa Cimbrone, and The Church of San Giovanni del Toro (Saint John of the Bull).

No visit to Capri is complete without at least a few hours spent on the Mediterranean Sea surrounding the island. Whether you choose to join an organized tour or rent a private boat with a captain, taking to the turquoise waters is the only way to explore some of the most beautiful parts of the island. In fact, many of the most enchanting stretches of the Capri coastline are completely inaccessible by land.

By boat, visitors are able to reach those secluded bays which are just perfect for swimming or sunbathing - far from the crowds crammed onto the tiny pebble beaches. A leisurely tour around the island will last roughly two and a half hours, including time for a quick dip in the sea. For those with more time at their disposal, full-day excursions can easily be arranged.

Pompeii holds an intense fascination for visitors today. Following the eruption of the volcano Mount Vesuvius in the year 79 AD, Pompeii lay buried and forgotten for hundreds of years and the excavations begun in the 18th century are still being carried out today. You can see the past prosperity of the town in the Roman villas, bathhouses, and temples that have been unearthed. Even an amphitheater has been found.

The city of Naples was probably founded by the Greeks around the 8th century BC, just kilometers from the older town of Partenope. This ‘new town’ or ‘Napoli’s’ has been absorbing the influences of its settlers and invaders ever since. Romulus Augustus, the last emperor of the Roman Empire, was imprisoned here after being overthrown in 476.

In the 6th century, Naples was conquered by the Byzantines, and it was one of the last duchies to fall to the all-conquering Normans in 1039, as they founded the Kingdom of Sicily. In 1266 Naples and the kingdom of Sicily were given by Pope Clement IV to Charles of Anjou, who moved the capital from Palermo to Naples. In 1284 the kingdom was split in two and stayed that way till 1816 when they would form the kingdom of Two Sicilia’s.
