During this holiday, you will be staying in a 4-star hotel in Sorrento, Italy.

Day 1 - Arrive in Naples

At Naples International Airport (NAP), Golden Tours International's assistant will be glad to welcome you to the Amalfi Coast and will lead you to your transfer vehicle, where a professional driver will take you to your 4-star hotel in Sorrento. The journey to Sorrento will be very comfortable and resting. Upon your arrival at the hotel, enjoy your welcome drink, settle into your room, and relax. You will then have dinner and retire for the night.

Day 2 - Private Pompeii and wine tasting

You will start your day with breakfast at the hotel in the morning. You will then depart to visit the world famous archeological site of Pompeii. After the explosion of the Volcano Vesuvius in 79 BC, the city was submerged by a torrent of lava and mud, which solidified preserving all the infrastructures that can be seen today. You will join a 2-hour guided tour in the archaeological site with an expert and licensed guide.

The second stop will be a fabulous winery located at the slopes of the Volcano Vesuvius. You will taste the Lachrima Christi wine, have lunch in a beautiful atmosphere, visit the cellars and the farm, and learn about the production and cultivation techniques of the grape. You will then return to the hotel, have dinner, and an retire for the night.

Day 3 - Pizza, mozzarella, and olive oil

In the morning, you will start your day with breakfast at the hotel and then depart to the hills of Sorrento. You cannot leave Italy without having an authentic Neapolitan pizza. This day will be dedicated to the making of this national treasure in a beautiful villa overlooking the sea and surrounded by greenery. You will be involved in a hands-on cooking class, where you will prepare your favorite pizza filled with your preferred ingredients. During the day, you will also assist in the preparation of homemade mozzarella, taste different types of cheese, and learn how the local extra virgin olive oil is produced, according to the KM0 philosophy. Return to Sorrento, have dinner, and retire for the night.

Day 4 - Chef Carmen

You will start off with breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, you will take part in a hands-on cooking class with a trained master chef. You can learn the secrets of the Mediterranean cuisine and, once at home, you can pamper your guests delighting their palate. The lesson is specially designed to assist you quickly and easily to prepare an authentic Neapolitan meal. You will cook by yourself alongside the chef in a comfortable and homely atmosphere. The class lasts about 2 hours and it is followed by lunch. The menu is composed by 4 courses, which are the appetizer; fresh pasta; meat, fish, or parmigiana (for vegetarian guests), and dessert.

In the afternoon, you will enjoy the sweetest lesson on earth, where you will learn how to prepare the real Italian gelato with fresh ingredients. The lesson lasts about 1 hour and you will find out the difference between an ice cream and a gelato, how to make cream based gelato and fresh fruit sorbet, and the different ways to make gelato at home with the ice cream machine and without. You will be assisted with a demonstration and taste a cup of handmade gelato. While in Sorrento, you will have the opportunity to taste the famous limoncello, lemon and citrus jam, and delicious babà with limoncello in a nice factory, located close to a citrus grove, where lemons are cultivated. You will end your day with dinner, before you retire for the night.

Day 5 - Capri by boat

After breakfast at the hotel, you will depart to Capri. Enjoy a tour by boat of the Sorrento Coast and sail to the island of Capri. The boat will be a typical Gozzo Sorrentino, equipped with every comfort for a maximum of 12 people. You will pass through Marciano, Mitigliano, and Regina Giovanna in Sorrento, as well as Faraglioni, Green Grotto, White Grotto and Blue Grotto, and Punta Carena in Capri. On the island, you will have about 4 hours to explore the area on your own. You will later return to your hotel and retire for the night.

Day 6 - Positano cooking class

After having breakfast at your hotel, you will have some free time in the morning. Around 12:30, you will depart in a private car to Positano, where you will have time to admire the wonderful town, take stunning pictures, and attend a hands-on cooking class at the Buca di Bacco, a luxury restaurant located close to the beach. Classes start at 15:30 and last two hours, finishing at 17:30 with a tasting of the dishes prepared. You will be preparing an appetizer, first course, and second course. At the end of the lesson, you can also enjoy a wonderful prosecco along the amazing beach of Positano. Your private driver will take you back to the hotel at around 20:00.

Day 7 - Departure

Today, you will enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Later, you will be transferred back to Naples International Airport (NAP) for your return flight.
