Day 1: Hanoi

  • Pick up at the airport and then transfer you to the hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter - the most exciting place for tourist.
  • Free time to visit Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi - Halong Bay

  • Meal plan: breakfast, lunch, dinner
  • 08:00 - 08:30 Pick-up at hotel and start the scenic, 3.5-hour drive to Halong Bay.
  • 12:30 - 13:00 Embark on the cruise followed by a short cruise briefing.
  • 13:30 - 14:30 Savor a delectable lunch along the limestone islands.
  • 15:00 - 16:00 Explore the amazing Sung Sot Cave, the most beautiful cave in Halong Bay.
  • 16:00 - 17:00 Cruise to Titov island. Go swimming and relax at the beach of Titov or climb up to the top of the island for a panorama view of Halong Bay.
  • 17:00 - 17:30 Return to the main boat and continue cruising to the quiet area while enjoying beautiful seascape on the way.
  • 17:30 - 19:00 Enjoy sunset party on sundeck and admire the best moments of the day when the sun starts to set.
  • 19:00 Dinner is served. Socialize with other guests, take part in board games, fish for squid, or just laze around. Overnight on board

Day 3: Halong Bay - Hanoi

  • 06:30 - 07:15 Start your day with Tai Chi exercises or a photo hunt.
  • 07:30 - 08:30 Take breakfast on board and enjoy the peaceful morning of Halong Bay.
  • 09:00 - 10:00 Kayak among the hidden areas of the bay, around the Man’s Head Islet area.
  • 10:15 Return to the boat. Freshen up and check out of your cabin.
  • 10:15 - 11:00 Continue your cruise exploring the bay, passing Ba Hang fishing village, Dog Islet, and more.
  • 11:00 - 12:15 While heading back to the harbor, watch the fruit carving demonstration and participate in the cooking class before enjoying a traditional Vietnamese lunch.
  • 12:15 - 12:30 Disembark.
  • 12:30 - 13:00 Transfer back to Hanoi.
  • 16:30 Arrive in Hanoi. Recheck in at your hotel.

Day 4: Hanoi

  • Meal plan: breakfast, lunch
  • 11:30 Check out your hotel, leave your luggage at hotel storage and your tour guide will welcome you at the lobby.
  • Start walking around 4 kilometers in old quarter "36 old streets" to visit some famous and specialized food stalls or local restaurants or shops where they run their business every day. Certainly you will taste around 6-8 dishes. Your host can customize vegetarian or special food too.
  • Your tour guide will introduce some popular authentic food in lovely mini restaurants (not luxury restaurants) where you feel comfortable to sit down and enjoy some favorite dishes and nice drinks too.
  • Your guide will tell you about the history of the old quarter in Hanoi. It is thousand years old and today retains much of the old flavor that made the area special in earlier times. Each street was the exclusive domain of one trade (guilds) so there are whole streets of blacksmiths, silver shops, paper shops, headstone makers and more. Originally there were just 36 old streets in the old quarter but today there are more than 50 streets.
  • It is very difficult to find some local food stalls and mini restaurants on your own in hidden alleys and sidewalks, certainly the best way to make it easy is joining Go Asia Travel, taking part in this special tour to learn about Vietnamese cuisine, culture, people and language.
  • This tour will give you a unique experience to try the foods of the local Hanoi people. Go Asia Travel ensures the food is handled hygienically and provides a comfortable venue for the tastings.   • 14:30 Your tour guide says goodbye to you, and will help you order taxi or show you direction to return to your hotel.
  • You are free until your transfer to Hanoi Train Station for train transfer to Danang.
  • Travel time is around 13 hours. On the train, you can see the beautiful countryside along the coastal line.
  • Stay overnight on the train and reach Danang train station in the next morning.

Day 5: Da Nang

  • Meal plan: dinner.
  • Train arrives today. You will be picked up and transferred to Hoi An Ancient town.
  • Check in at your hotel in the ancient town and take some time to relax.
  • 18:00 Set up meeting point for cooking class and dinner time.
  • 20.00 Go back to your hotel. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 6: Hoi An

  • Meal plan: breakfast, lunch.
  • 07:30 - 08:00 The bus and tour guide picks you up at your hotel.
  • 08:30 Leave Hoi An for My Son Holy Land.
  • 09:30 Arrive in My Son Holy Land, surrounded by the marvelous mountains, 48 kilometers west of Hoi An. My Son was chosen as a religious center, built in the late 4th century under the Cham’s King Bhadravaman. It is a huge religious complex with over 70 towers and temples of different architectures. Wander through the elaborate carvings and sculptures of the Cham people. Tourists are welcome at the Old Tower of the Cham.
  • Spend 2 hours to enjoy and discover the beauty of Ancient buildings at of the Champa Kingdom with your tour guide.
  • 12:00 Leave My Son for boat station then take a boat trip on Thu Bon river. You could visit the local people and feel the fresh air.
  • You will have lunch on the boat and see the beautiful views along the river.
  • 13:30 The boat trip will end at Bach Dang Boat station. Your driver will pick you up to local restaurant for lunch.
  • Go back to your hotel after lunch.
  • End of day trip.

Day 7: Hoi An

  • Meal plan: breakfast.
  • After breakfast at your hotel, you are free until your airport transfer.
  • Today, you will have a flight to Ho Chi Minh city and stay overnight at the most touristic area of Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 8: HCMC - Mekong Delta

  • Meal plan: breakfast, lunch.
  • 08:00 Pick-up from hotel.
  • 08:15 Start driving to Cai Be; short time to take photos at Tan An town over the flat rice fields.
  • 10:30 Start the motorized boat tour to visit the Cai Be floating market. Experience how people exchange goods, fruits and many other commodities on their vessels. *Visitors then roam into the small villages to visit the orchard and fruit plantation.
  • Keep cruising to Vinh Long through small canals to enjoy the charm of the upper Mekong Delta. Visit some handmade family business products such as the coconut candy mill and the crispy rice popcorn.
  • Arrive in Binh Hoa Phuoc village, the green pearl of Vinh Long town where you can indulge yourself into the nature.
  • Have lunch with fresh river food served in the heart of the garden.
  • Enjoy the southern Vietnamese traditional folk music.
  • Take a nice walk through the bonsai garden in Vinh Long.
  • Head home to Ho Chi Minh city.
  • 18:30 Arrive at your hotel.

Day 9 Ho Chi Minh city

  • Meal plan: breakfast, lunch.
  • 08:30 Your tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and then start driving to Cu Chi which is located 60 kilometers from Ho Chi Minh city. Cu Chi is now considered a heroic district for its role in the anti-American war in Vietnam. It is legendary for Original tunnels system of over 220 kilometers and is a popular spot for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors. The peacefully rural rice paddy scenery contains ducks and water buffalo swimming in the rivers alongside the road. Visitors will find it hard to imagine the destruction, damage and defoliation all over the area, caused by bombing and mines when Cu Chi was a "free target zone." The remnants visitors will see show Cu Chi still has her evidence to prove the fierce battleground that took place there and visitors will see the remnants.
  • 12:00 Have lunch in a local restaurant.
  • 13:00 Back to Ho Chi Minh city.
  • 14:00 Arrive in your hotel in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 10: Departure

  • Meal plan: breakfast.
  • Today you are free to visit Ho Chi Minh city and shop for souvenirs until transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport for your flight back home.
  • Trip ends.
