If you are a professional or a beginner looking to improve your knowledge of modern French cooking, then this certified intensive course is the perfect one for you. Held in Southern France, you will immerse yourself in the pastry-making world. With hands-on pastry lessons, you will be exposed to cakes, breads, doughs, and chocolate during the program. Students are housed in apartments with 2 bedrooms, living-room, bathroom, separate toilet, terrace where you can relax and dine, and a fully equipped kitchen, which allows each student to be able to cook their own dishes and respect their culinary habits. Free Wi-Fi is available in the classrooms of the culinary academy.

Cap d’Agde and Residence Saint Loup is an attractive and dynamic resort that offers 14 kilometers of fine, sandy beaches, a pleasure marina with 3000 moorings, water sports and other sporting activities, an 18-hole golf course, and the International Tennis Club. You can conveniently stroll around from one quay to another on linking footpaths. There is a cycle track that goes through the resort towards Agde.

The Residence Club Saint Loup is situated in a park of 4 hectares of luxuriant greenery, a naturally preserved, spacious environment, dotted with ponds and lakes, just 5 minutes from the harbor and beach. A bus line, with a stop at the Resorts entrance, connects you every day to Agde train station, making it easy to visit the surrounding cities.

Please note that upon arrival, a caution amount of EUR 500 has to be submitted at the check-in to cover any damage that might occur during your stay. Should the room be free of any damage, the entire amount will be refunded to you at the check-out time.

The length of the program is 2 weeks with 30 hours of hands-on classes during the week. The program contains only pastry lessons and you will get the weekends free to enjoy as you wish. You might work in teams to help each other and learn together. During the program, there is always an evolution with different dishes that you will prepare, incorporating more difficult techniques. Every day you will also prepare modern desserts at the level of one Michelin star.

Depending on the dates selected, you will be able to work with breads, viennoiseries, and doughs; cakes and entremets; chocolate; and plated desserts and decoration.

The closest airport is Béziers Cap d'Agde Airport (BZR).

Arrival by bus

You can take the bus from the residence to the school, it takes only 10 minutes. A bus line, with a stop at the resort’s entrance and at 200 meters from the school, connects you every day to the school and the city center.

Arrival by train

Upon arrival to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), take a direct TGV train going to Perpignan and which stop in Agde, where Gastronomicom can pick you up in September, January, and April.
