The restaurant "Da Lino" is one of the best known among the traditional restaurants of Florence. Lino, the owner and chef of the restaurant, was also the president of the Florentine Chefs Association.

"Cooking Like an Ancient Tuscan"
The Villa was beautiful and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Excellent service. Chef Gloria was incredible. She was organized and accommodated dishes I wanted to learn. Her passion for cooking and sharing her family recipes was evident each day.
She shared tips from her grand mothers kitchen and this history of the dishes we made. She made each day a special experience.
The staff at Instituto Galiliei were also very responsive to all the questions I had before the trip. JImberly was very responsive, She helped me to organize other excursions and sent me options and worked with me to make my trip memorable.
The entire experience from booking to end far exceeded my expectations

"Villa Fiesole Cooking Vacation"
Villa Fiesole was a very nice hotel. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. My cooking classes with Chef Vilma were so enjoyable. I learned so much from her and enjoyed eating the fruits of our labor for dinner each night that we had a class.

I'm writing this review on behalf of my mother who took part in a cooking course with the Istituto Galilei. She is a lady of 83, with some mobility issues. I had a long email discussion with Jimberly about the course and how suitable it would be - and I cannot fault how well everything was organised. The hotel booked for her (Orto dei Medici) was excellent and took very good care of her, and she said it was extremely comfortable. Her course turned out to be one-on-one - and her rating of it was that it was exceptional. She is talking about going home and buying a pasta machine 🙂 Thank you to all involved.

"Amazing authentic cooking experience in Florencr!"
I could not have been happier with my experience with the Galilei Institute cooking course at Ristorante da Lino! I was able to make more than twenty authentic Italian dishes and any requests I had were met by Chef Nicola! Location was amazing and Jimberly was so helpful organizing everything for me! I have already decided to come back next year to take some Italian language courses and continue my cooking experience!
