I chose Funny Travel, and was expected their answers for my first e-mail.. that came soon, and we started to discuss the details, the fees. We organised a street food tour of Hanoi which was terrific (definitely try the egg coffee!) and then went on a one night Ha Long bay tour with them which was delightful and they made everything so easy! But more than that they were friendly helpful with anything we needed and just happy to spend some time talking and were genuinely interested in our trip. "My family and I booked several tours with Joe from Funny Travel. He was very helpful and friendly from the outset. Everything was straightforward and everyone were professional and friendly. We booked a day tour to Ninh Binh and Tam Coc followed by a Hanoi food tour that evening. Our guide was Thanh who was great. We did a bit of cycling and had a lovely boat trip along the river in Tam Coc. We also booked an overnight trip to Ha Long Bay. Unfortunately, the weather prevented the ship from undockin but we were impressed by the professional nature in which the tour guide and Joe conducted themselves. They kept us updated and gave us alternative options. We eventually got a refund for the trip with no problems. As we were very impressed with the above, we also ended up booking tour to the gorgeous My Son (Hoi An) via Joe. The guide, Tai, was very enthusiastic and friendly. All in all we highly recommend Joe and Funny Travel Team. You will be guaranteed a great personalized service and a memorable time in Vietnam!"

"We booked a full-day motorbike tour with Funny Travel. Joe understood exactly how we wanted to spend our day and set us up with two guides. One of the first surprises along the way was a chance to watch men and women raking and drying rice and our guides made friends with the workers who let us try our hand at turning over the rice so that it dries evenly. We stopped at three pagodas and a home stay for a delicious meal. During the meal, one of our guides gave us a great history lesson of Vietnam complete with maps and pictures. It was a nice surprise that left us with a better appreciation of the history of Vietnam. In addition to the main meal, the guides stopped from time to time to introduce us to local food including sugarcane juice. We made our way back to Funny Travel but the day wasn't over yet. Vicky bought us all a cold beer which was just what we needed after a long but fantastic day. Our guides were friendly, funny, and informative. The next day, we reconnected with one of our guides, Toan, to enjoy another local treat, which was the coconut coffee. Conveniently located on Gia Ngu Street, I would highly recommend Funny Travel for all of your Vietnam tour needs. I will definitely book with them again."

"We looked at organized tours in Australia before we left but they were full and quite expensive. My wife has chronic pain so we needed to allow lots of rest days and have a workable itinerary. We came across with Funny Travel Vietnam by accident and Vicky arranged our excursion and Joe put together a great package for the rest of our holiday. He arranged an itinerary that suited our needs beautifully by taking into account our need for rest days and our love of train travel incorporating all the best locations in the country. We stayed at three-star hotels and these were all very comfortable. We recommend Funny Travel Vietnam based in Hanoi since they are highly professional, understanding, informative, and very friendly."

"We found Funny Travel on TripAdvisor and booked a one-day trip to Halong Bay with them. We were greeted with a friendly smile and a refreshing drink. Joe recommended us a couple of day trips and organized us a few flights and accommodations for coming days. The program was tempting and the price was very good so we didn't think for a long time and decided to go for it. After we left Hanoi, Joe checked every day whether everything is going according to the plan, and asked us if we were satisfied with our tours and tour guides and if the service was good. We will definitely recommend Funny Travel to all our friends and acquaintances that are planning to visit Vietnam. And without a doubt, when we come to Hanoi next time, we will visit Joe and Vicky, people who made our Vietnamese trip even more awesome. Thank you guys! People like you are the best possible promotion of your great country."
