If your passion is cooking and discovering new recipes and foods, you have to try Fresh Cooking Spain’s gastronomic experience. All this travel is about the authentic recipes and traditional food within the Spanish culture. Fun and enjoyment are essential and Fresh Cooking Spain want you to take this gastronomic experience home.
During this holiday, you will be staying at a 4-star hotel in Seville, located in the neighbourhood of Santa Cruz, the cradle of millenary Seville. Its privileged location next to La Catedral, La Giralda and the most famous monuments and leisure and shopping areas will make you enjoy the city as never before. A classic and distinguished hotel in the centre of Seville, with all the possible comforts and that is differentiated by the affection that its professionals put in serving the client.
You will be spending also three nights in a comfortable hotel, centrally located in the city of El Puerto de Santa Maria, Cadiz. All the rooms have a private bathroom, air conditioning, TV, Wi-Fi, minibar, and all the comforts of modern décor. Located in the historic centre of the city, walking distance from a wide selection of restaurants, tavernas, tapas bars, as well as monuments, cultural centres, and museums.
At the cooking classes, you will have your own workplace and work area which includes stools and stoves, only for you. This is not a conventional cooking class where you need to watch the instructors and take notes. In Fresh Cooking Spain’s classes, you will prepare yourself the delicious dishes of the traditional Spanish recipes.
And even more; the city, tapas, and market tours will show you how the city downtown is and how to choose the best ingredients. You will also discover how a cellar and an oil mill farm work, tasting different wines and olive oils, two of the most important ingredients of the Spanish culture. This holiday is open for everyone. No previous cooking experience is necessary.
At the reception you will receive a briefing with the schedule of activities, holiday orientation and extra information.
At 17:00 you will meet the host&cheff Ana López you will enjoy your first cooking class, where you will prepare two traditional Spanish dishes. After the cooking class you will taste your creations in a terrace with gorgeous views (weather permitting).
Private transfer from train station or airport is available.
At 11:00 the second cooking class will take place. You will prepare another two dishes and you discover how to prepare also a great Sangría.
Then, at 16,30 hours, you will immerse yourself in the antioxidant qualities of the Ribera del Duero red grape spa treatment.
At 18,30 you will have a guided visit to popular Barrio de Santa Cruz. You will discover the typical narrow streets, the old stately houses, the patios with flowers and fountains…
You will have leisure time for dinner. You can enjoy some tapas close to the apartment (a list of suggested bar&restaurants wil be given).
At 10 you will have a private transfer to visit an ecological olive oil mill farm. You will have a guided visit where you will walk through olive trees, visit the museum and learn the ancient tradition of how the extra virgin olive oil is produced. A guided olive oil tasting will follow it. Then you will take the private transfer to Seville for a tapas lunch in the oldest tapas bar of the city.
After a delicious lunch, you will have two hours of leisure time.
At 17:00 you will have your third cooking class and dinner.
At 10:00 we will pick you up for a guided market tour in Seville. You will visit the oldest and the newest markets in the city having a stop to enjoy a drink. We will buy some fresh ingredients to prepare the dishes in our last cooking class.
At 12:00 will take place the cooking class where you will learn how to prepare typical Paella in an authentic paella pan. After the cooking class you will enjoy for lunch your creations.
You will have leisure time in Seville to make some shopping or visit the city.
At 20:30 we will set a meeting point in a nice restaurant to have the farewell dinner in Seville.
After that, if you want, we recommend you to attend a flamenco show in Triana. (Optional activity - not included in the price).
Private transfer to El Puerto de Santa María.
At 11:30 you will have a El Puerto de Santa María tour. El Puerto de Santa Maria is one of the best places in Spain to enjoy a Tapas Tour.
You will visit the food market were you will find an amazing assortment of fishes and vegetables. For lunch you will have a tapas tour.
Very well known for its delicious gastronomy and superb wines. We find a wide range of Tapas to choose and our Tapas Tour is a huge hit giving you a “real taste” of the best of El Puerto de Santa Maria and its local gastronomy.
After lunch you will have leisure time until the next rendez-vous.
In the afternoon, 18:30, you will visit the nearest cellar to the sea in Spain, were you will have a 6 wine and 2 brandy tasting, with some snacks: dried meats, cheese, chips and Moorish sweets.
Then you will have leisure time. You can enjoy some tapas close to the hotel.
At 10:00 we will take the catamaran transfer to Cadiz.
You will discover Cadiz through a cultural and historical tour, which includes the old market hall.
We start the Market & Tapas Tour with a visit to the amazing Food Market of Cadiz. Here you will learn about its rich history as well as discovering its tempting food - their wonderful range of fish that can be found every day on the stalls.
During the visit to the market you can try some of the delicacies available at special food stalls inside the market and once recharged by this delicious food we continue on exploring the city.
After a short walk we reach a couple of the most interesting tapas bars to enjoy the Cadiz “tapeo” as the bars fill up with the local people enjoying their lunch time.
At 17:00 we will return to El Puerto de Santa María in catamaran. Then you have leisure time.
At 10:00 you will have a private transfer to a Cartuja breeding farm where you will learn the fascinating life of the Spanish horses. The essential aim of this breeding farm is to preserve the genetic heritage that holds this lineage and to contribute to the improvement of the Andalusian Horse.
At 13:30 you will take a private transfer to Jerez de la Frontera where you will have a guided gourmet tapas tour.
At 15:00 you will take a private transfer back to El Puerto de Santa María and you will have leisure time.
Farewell dinner will take place at 20:00 in el Puerto de Santa María. In a cute restaurant you will share dishes in an Andalusian patio, if weather is nice.

Ana is a food and traditional recipes enthusiast. In previous jobs related to foreign trades, she had the opportunity to travel in four continents. In those travels, she met many interesting people and discovered recipes from different cultures. Combining her business and language skills with her cooking passion, Ana decided to share the recipes of her childhood with the rest of the world. So she created her own business, Fresh Cooking Spain, a cooking workshop in the historic center of Seville, which offers incredible gastronomic experiences.
Mar has been involved in the tourism world for more than 25 years. After working in one of the most important travel agencies in Madrid, she decided to move to Andalusia. In Granada, she ran her own successful incoming travel agency for eight years before deciding to head for Cadiz. Her love of Cadiz food, wine, sherry, and passion about sharing Cadiz region’s amazing history and culture led her to design private experiences to taste the true local culture and gastronomy. She provides not only a culinary experience, but also the culture, architecture, art, history, and local customs.
This tapas, wine, and cooking holiday will take place in the beautiful region of Andalucía, Spain in cities and villages like Seville, El Puerto de Santa María, Cádiz, and Jerez de la Frontera.
The holiday package includes daily breakfast and two welfare dinners with typical Andalusian dishes. The dishes you will prepare during the vacation are based on Spanish tradition and local products. There are two bus and coach stations in the city. The main one is on Plaza de Armas, with numerous daily national and international services. The Prado de San Sebastián bus station operates scheduled regional services. Transfer from and to the bus station is available upon request.
Seville has been served by the high-speed train (AVE) since 1992. These trains offer some twenty daily services (in each direction) between Seville and Madrid, with a maximum journey time of around two and a half hours. The AVE also connects with Barcelona, by way of Zaragoza, in around five and a half hours, and with Valencia in a little less than four hours.
Santa Justa Station is located on Avenida de Kansas City, just a few minutes’ walk from the historic city center. Seville is also served by other long-distance railway lines. There are also regional services connecting Seville with the other provincial capitals in Andalusia, and with numerous towns and villages.
Renfe Spain Passs allows non-residents to travel around Spain by train. This system is very practical, as it can be used on all AVE long-distance and mid-distance high-speed trains. The Renfe Spain Pass is valid for one month from the first trip and comes in two formats (businessor club and tourist). It can be purchased up to six months in advance, and is available for four, six, eight, ten, or twelve journeys.
To get to Seville, visitors can opt for a taxi from the airport to the Plaza de Armas in the center of the city. The journey takes approximately 35 minutes. A one-way ticket costs 4 EUR and a return ticket 6 EUR.
