Ana is a food and traditional recipes enthusiast. In previous jobs related to foreign trades, she had the opportunity to travel in four continents. In those travels, she met many interesting people and discovered recipes from different cultures. Combining her business and language skills with her cooking passion, Ana decided to share the recipes of her childhood with the rest of the world. So, she created her own business, Fresh Cooking Spain, a cooking workshop in the historic center of Seville, which offers incredible gastronomic experiences.
Mar has been involved in the tourism world for more than 25 years. After working in one of the most important travel agencies in Madrid, she decided to move to Andalusia. In Granada, she ran her own successful incoming travel agency for eight years before deciding to head for Cadiz. Her love of Cadiz food, wine, sherry, and passion about sharing Cadiz region’s amazing history and culture led her to design private experiences to taste the true local culture and gastronomy. She provides not only a culinary experience, but also the culture, architecture, art, history, and local customs.

Four of us did the gourmet tapas and wine tasting class. After cooking each recipe, we received a class on the wine to serve and how to "taste" the wine. It was very informative and fun. We ate and drank out on the terrace, which had spectacular views of Seville. When we were finished, they helped get us a cab. The owner, Ana Lopez, was so down-to-earth and gave recipes and tips you can actually use. Their wine expert, Monica, was very knowledgeable and such a sweetheart. I would highly recommend a class for a nice night out!
Ana was incredibly friendly and a very gracious host. She taught me some new techniques and finally unlocked the secret of paella. I loved how willing she was to help me with my Spanish and shared all of the recommendations for tapas in Triana. The location itself was really pretty as well. Take the elevator to the sixth floor and go to the end of the hall. The sign out front is not very big. If you are having trouble finding it, it is near Caixabank.
We did a couples cooking class with Ana and loved it! She is both personable and professional. We wanted to do something different, but still experience Spanish culture and this was the perfect fit. Ana's local knowledge and cooking expertise made this worthwhile. At the end, we had a nice dinner on the terrace with a great rooftop view. We made three different gazpachos and a meat dish. Then, she provided a bottle of wine and an amazing dessert that she prepared separately. A full dinner, actually more than we could eat.

My wife and I cooked with Ana, the chief executive officer and chef of Fresh Cooking Spain. Ana was fun and had a very nice menu prepared for us to cook. The kitchen was very clean with top of the line appliances. We then got to eat our meal out on the patio with amazing views of the Seville skyline, including the cathedral. A definite must do in Seville!

When I went to Fresh Cooking Spain for the very first time, I found it very fun and full of possibilities for many reasons. You can enjoy a great Spanish meal, but you can also learn how to prepare it by yourself! Such a nice experience with those unparalleled views of Seville. The last time I visited them, just when you think it could not get any better, they surprised me with new cooking ideas that I could not even imagine. Give yourself the chance to enjoy such an experience, like I did. Great job!

We had a great cooking experience. We were able to choose the recipes: Spanish tortilla, ham croquetas, and pisto for 100 euros for two persons. This was a private class for my husband and I. The material was new, as it was a new kitchen. We ate our lunch on the terrace, which has a great view. What was surprising is that in this kitchen, everyone has their own kitchen space, so everyone has to work on the same ingredients at the same time, instead of having one person for one task or ingredient, which they do in some cooking classes. This means that each person is able to cook all ingredients of each recipe at all stages. The lunch included a dessert and a glass of Spanish wine. We had a great time and I have to thank Ana Lopez for her patience, her cooking tips, and her kindness. We had a great time.
