Ana is a food and traditional recipes enthusiast. In previous jobs related to foreign trades, she had the opportunity to travel in four continents. In those travels, she met many interesting people and discovered recipes from different cultures. Combining her business and language skills with her cooking passion, Ana decided to share the recipes of her childhood with the rest of the world. So she created her own business, Fresh Cooking Spain, a cooking workshop in the historic center of Seville, which offers incredible gastronomic experiences.
Mar has been involved in the tourism world for more than 25 years. After working in one of the most important travel agencies in Madrid, she decided to move to Andalusia. In Granada, she ran her own successful incoming travel agency for eight years before deciding to head for Cadiz. Her love of Cadiz food, wine, sherry, and passion about sharing Cadiz region’s amazing history and culture led her to design private experiences to taste the true local culture and gastronomy. She provides not only a culinary experience, but also the culture, architecture, art, history, and local customs.

"Food heaven in Spain"
We enjoyed excellent food in the company of guides who were easy to be with. We were very happy to have decisions made about what we might enjoy eating and drinking with our knowledgeable hosts both in Cadiz and Seville. The choices they made, both in venue and food, were superb.
We particularly enjoyed our evening meal in El Puerto Santa Maria at El Arriate. The chef is an artist of flavour! All the hard work done by our guide to ensure a superb meal was amply rewarded by probably the best meal I've ever had! (despite having visited many Michelin starred restaurants!!)
Our cooking sessions with Ana were very enjoyable. She is a happy and very knowledgeable tutor. Her explanations were precise and the facilities for cooking are excellent. She was very helpful and tailored the dishes we made to meet my rather exacting demands! (We try hard not to eat any carbohydrates!) I have already prepared one of the dishes we made in her kitchen for guests here and had compliments flowing!
Visiting markets is always something we enjoy and the visits to the ones in Seville were great fun. We also managed to shop for some specialist cooking equipment in Ana's local shop! I'm looking forward to using what I bought too.
We had a number of trips that we enjoyed, but the one that we thought was the most unusual and also extremely enjoyable was having a spa experience at the Aire de Sevilla, where we floated in a wine bath!! Yes, we were actually marinated in warm wine! A different experience

Four of us did the gourmet tapas and wine tasting class. After cooking each recipe, we received a class on the wine to serve and how to "taste" the wine. It was very informative and fun. We ate and drank out on the terrace, which had spectacular views of Seville. When we were finished, they helped get us a cab. The owner, Ana Lopez, was so down-to-earth and gave recipes and tips you can actually use. Their wine expert, Monica, was very knowledgeable and such a sweetheart. I would highly recommend a class for a nice night out!
Ana was incredibly friendly and a very gracious host. She taught me some new techniques and finally unlocked the secret of paella. I loved how willing she was to help me with my Spanish and shared all of the recommendations for tapas in Triana. The location itself was really pretty as well. Take the elevator to the sixth floor and go to the end of the hall. The sign out front is not very big. If you are having trouble finding it, it is near Caixabank.
