    Walking tour of Paris

This holiday will take place in France. The first 2 days will be spent in Paris, a global center for art, fashion, gastronomy and culture. Its picturesque 19th-century cityscape blends magically with wide boulevards and the River Seine. Beyond such landmarks as the Eiffel Tower and the 12th-century, Gothic Notre-Dame cathedral, the city is known for its cafe culture and designer boutiques. After Paris, you will spend 5 days in Provence. The mild climate of southeast France allows residents to enjoy outdoor living nearly all year round.

Provence gardens are linked to the stone farmhouses, or mas, that are central to the region, making this region a real treat for the sight. Your third stop will be the French Alps. This mesmerizing region has a diverse range of vistas and hiking trails to choose from. Colossal peaks thrusting upward into cobalt-blue skies, crevasse-fissured glaciers, tumbling crystal-clear rivers, and sapphire lakes come together to form a sight unlike anything other. In summer, all of this can be explored on foot and by bicycle, kayak or car.

On this trip, you will have the chance to enjoy an authentic gourmet experience, learning the skills and techniques employed by professional chefs during hands-on classes and visits to the market with your instructor. You will indulge in classic French cuisine at delightful restaurants and discover local wineries and sample regional specialties during wine and cheese tastings. You will also have the opportunity to experience lunch in traditional venues as well as al fresco picnics, savoring the regional dishes in the true French style.
