The villa where your cookery course in Sicily is held is situated on a private estate, and is of typical Sicilian style and dates back to 1848. Chosen because of its location, it has some beautiful views of the surrounding areas. Upon waking in the morning, to a clear blue sky, you can enjoy breakfast outside and soak up the sea views.

Your venue has luxurious ensuite bedrooms, all decorated in a modern style. Each room has a view of either the sea, almond grove or the Sicilian countryside. Our Cookery School in Sicily has a beautiful spacious dining room, the perfect setting to enjoy all the Sicilian dishes you will be creating. Because "Cooking is just the half of it" we have chosen to surround you in an environment that will completely immerse you in the flavors of Sicily.

Within the grounds of the estate there is an outdoor pool, which is encircled by almond and olive trees. After a dip, you can sit back and relax on the terrace and enjoy the sight and sound of the sea. Sicily is an ideal place for a Mediterranean island holiday and our villa is the perfect place to kick back and relax.


Day 1, Sunday

Private transfer to the villa.

Our Flavours transfer will meet you at Catania airport and take you to the villa where you can enjoy welcome drinks and dinner prepared by our local chef.

Day 2, Monday

Cook your first meal in the morning and relax in the afternoon.

After breakfast, your first cookery lesson with our local chef, followed by lunch. You are free in the afternoon to relax at the beautiful Villa Aragonese. Dinner is served at the villa.

Day 3, Tuesday

Enjoy a tour at a local vineyard and have your second cookery lesson.

Today you will enjoy a private tour, lunch and wine tasting at a local vineyard. In the late afternoon your second hands-on cookery lesson, followed by dinner.

Day 4, Wednesday

Enjoy your first excursion of the week, including lunch at a amazing sea food restaurant.

Visit the coastal town of Siracusa and have lunch. Travel to Noto to taste local ice cream at a classic Gelateria. Tonights dinner will be at Villa Aragonese. Please note the itinerary is subject to change depending on the weather and allowing for the Italian ways!

Day 5, Thursday

Another cookery lesson with time to relax with dinner at the villa.

After breakfast, enjoy another hands- on cookery lesson and lunch at the villa. This afternoon is free to relax by the pool. Dinner this evening is at the villa.

Day 6, Friday

Cookery lesson in the morning followed by exciting excursions.

Another cookery lesson this morning before heading to Modica to taste its famous chocolate. The afternoon will be spent exploring the stunning town of Ragusa and have an evening meal at our favourite local restaurant.

Day 7, Saturday

Have your final cookery lesson and enjoy some time relaxing by the pool.

Following breakfast, a cookery lesson and lunch you will be free to relax for the afternoon at the villa by the pool. In the evening we will enjoy our final meal at the villa.

Day 8, Sunday

Enjoy a early breakfast before our transfer takes you back to Catania airport, arrivederci!

After breakfast, the morning to relax. Depending on travel times, we may take the opportunity to stop of and explore Catania before your flight home.

To let you discover the flavours of Sicily we have based our venue in the south east of the island: the place where it all began. The surrounding area is dotted with well-known historical sites and gastronomic locations. Sicily is an island of contrasts, mixed cultures and changing landscapes, and is bathed in sunshine most of the time. It has an amazingly diverse, ancient heritage.

Some historical sites are Siracusa Greek Theatre, the Temples of Agrigento and various Baroque towns such as Noto and Ragusa. The popular gastronomic locations are Pachino for cherry tomatoes, Modica for chocolate, Avola for almonds and wine, Ragusa for Caciocavallo cheese and so on.

We base ourselves in the south-east and the surrounding area is dotted with well-known historical sites - such as Siracusa Greek Theatre, and various Baroque towns such as Noto and Ragusa. Sicilians have a passion for food and drink with the sunshine and sea make the flavors of Sicily intense and exotic.

Various civilizations - Greek, Roman, Arabs, Normans, Spanish and British - have left their mark on Sicilian Cuisine. Every conqueror of this island has left behind the imprint of his culinary heritage. Discovering Sicilian cookery is like discovering Sicilian history. Various civilizations - Greek, Roman, Arabs, Normans, Spanish and British - have left their mark and from the gastronomic point of view, their influence is still in evidence in modern day Sicilian cooking.
