We went back for a second visit with the whole family in tow, and Finca Alta Cocina is even more beautiful than before. The area is so beautiful that we couldnt resist revisiting all the local attractions, though we did spend a lot more time just lazing by the pool this time. Thanks once again to Bill and Eva for their marvelous hospitality, the girls cant wait to try making the paella when they get home!

I cant believe that I have just spent five amazing days with you here in sunny Spain. I have really enjoyed the whole cooking experience. Being a total beginner has meant that I have learned so much. I cant deny that I was a little apprehensive as my cooking skills and knowledge of cooking was minimal. But I am going home with a new-found confidence and superb menus that I will certainly be trying out. My husband will think he has died and gone to heaven!

I never thought that a place like this could exist or that I would love it so much. The amazing cooking things you have taught me are most memorable. My favorite part of the whole experience was lunch and dinner, and the conversation that came along with it. I have never met two strangers with whom Ive felt so comfortable and welcomed in their home. I thank you for a wonderful, relaxing and educational experience.

What can I say? Fab? Great? Wonderful? No, bloody brilliant!!! This was a cooking break I bought for my husband Terry as a present. His face was a picture when he received it and as we were about to leave after our break, he had the same expression on his face (only this time he had a tan to go with it).Eva was a great cook and host who put us at ease as soon as we arrived. Her teaching skills made it a pleasure to learn. The accommodation and surrounding area are truly beautiful, and my husband said this is the most relaxed he has been in years. What a great experience!

We are a family of four: mother, two daughters (22 and 16), and a non-cooking father. We have enjoyed every minute of this holiday. The most memorable moments were: leisurely dinners with Eva and William on the terrace lots of laughs, lots of wine and amazing food, and late afternoons by the pool with the sun setting over the mountains. We also visited the local festival in Olvera with Eva, eating churros with hot chocolate, and watching the crowds go by. The Jerez market tour included buying squid, prawns, pigs cheeks and other delicacies. We have learnt so many techniques and new dishes to try out with our friends back home. Eva is a fantastic teacher. We will always remember this holiday and hope to return. The cookery classes we have learnt so many techniques and new dishes to try out on our friends back home. Eva is a fantastic teacher. Late afternoons by the pool watching the goats coming home and the sun setting over the mountains. We will always remember this holiday and hope to return.
