During this holiday, Chef Sandy invites you in her home as she welcomes you warmly to discover the Mauritian culture and cuisine more profoundly. The guest room is arranged to be comfortable and is decorated with care to match the Island's spirit. It compromises with all amenities and services provided by five stars hotels. It is located in a calm, quiet and friendly atmosphere, and enjoy local seasonal cuisine and homemade specialties.

All rooms have a private bathroom and a private terrace facing the pool. There is direct access from the apartment to the pool. There is also a living room and small kitchen loaded with drinks which is shared with other guests.

Program

Day 1

Welcoming cocktail and light lunch with the Chef. After the beach visit, interesting local dishes will be prepared by the chef.

Day 2

Sight-seeing of monuments full of Mauritian history, accompanied by the visit of the town’s local market with the chef. Get introduced to fresh local produce, herbs, and spices and discover famous Mauritian street foods.

After lunch, hands-on learning to cook some wonderful dishes of the Mauritian cuisine in a cooking class with the chef and receive as a souvenir your certificate and her cookbook "A Feast of Mauritius" in English or "Un Chef a la Maison" in French.

Day 3

Enjoy a full day boat trip with snorkeling adventures, great barbecue, and bottomless drinks. Dinner is prepared by Chef Sandy.

This holiday will take place at Grand Bay, Mauritius. It is the best resort town, considered to be the “Riviera” of Mauritius. Grand Bay is well known for its liveliness by day and night.

With more than a dozen of hypermarkets/supermarkets, casinos, banks, massage parlors, post office, shops offering a wide selection of imported high fashion branded labels, along with traditional local craft shops offering clothing and souvenirs, 100 of restaurants offering cuisines from around the world, Creole, Chinese, Italian, Indian, French, barbecue, pizzas, everyone will find something to their liking.

Food

Every day during this holiday, you will be served with a complete breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You will also benefit from being served any drinks and wines available in the villa as well as during the excursions. Every evening, there is a different cocktail (with or without alcohol).
