A beautiful wedding venue in the lovely Italian mountains of Umbria set among vineyards and olive groves with stunning views. The country house hotel venue including separate cottages, has many different terraces and bar areas for guests to mingle, including a beautiful swimming pool area, its own gazebo wedding terrace, an inside pool and sauna, outstanding large separate hall in case of a heavy downpour, to mention a few specific areas. Unfortunately I didn't see any of the bedrooms, but I am assured they are gorgeous.

A great experience, amazing staff, excellent service, stunning views and mesmerizing food. Organizing a wedding in Fattoria di Vibio has been the greatest pleasure for me, thank from the bottom of my heart to Giuseppe, Antonella, Gianna and all the staff. They made me and my clients feel at home.
I'll be back for more weddings.

I traveled to Umbria and the Fattoria di Vibio with my wife and another couple. We loved the Fattoria di Vibio and reflect back on our time spent there (7 nights) as the high point of our two-weeks stay in Italy. We stayed in one of their villas, a two-bedroom place with a kitchen, dining room, dishwasher, clothes washer and a nice patio. When we arrived, we were greeted by Gianna, a wonderful, kind-hearted, genuinely nice woman who is a great representative for this property. We arrived after dark, after driving in from Rome, so Gianna checked us in quickly and helped us with dinner reservations in nearby Todi. Later, she showed us around our villa and the property, a working farm with olive and fruit trees all around. On another day when she had business in Orvieto, Gianna, who was born in Orvieto, met us there for a personal tour of this city and dinner together. Along with Gianna, the entire staff of the Fattoria di Vibio was wonderful, including the ladies in the kitchen, who gave the four of us a lively cooking class. We used this property as our home base for travel throughout Umbria and absolutely loved our week there. Folks traveling to the Umbrian countryside have to realize that they are in the country, where the water from the faucets is not potable. We have traveled to many foreign countries, so we knew to ask and this was not a problem for us. There is a restaurant on site and a well-stocked grocery store nearby for supplies. Bottled water is cheap in Umbria, essentially 60 cents for a two-liter bottle, so the lack of good drinking water from the faucet was a minor inconvenience. The reward for accepting this issue is that the Umbrian countryside is beautiful and eerily quiet. We slept with our windows open and woke each day to an almost absolute silence. It appears that the bugs in Umbria are trained to stay out of the villa, because our windows were wide open at all times and we had only the occasional fly around for a few minutes on some days. Otherwise, insects were not an issue. Traveling there in September might have been the reason for this, because the weather was perfect and cool, but we expected to have to deal with bugs in the countryside, so the absence of insect issues was a nice surprise. The drive to the Fattoria is along a narrow, unpaved road, but this road is well-maintained so any car should be able to travel this road. On the other hand, the Umbrian roads are quite curvy and poorly maintained, so the approach to the Fattoria is a bumpy one that takes about 10 or more minutes from the main highway, depending upon one's driving ability. The property has hiking trails, bike rentals, an outdoor pool, an indoor, heated pool and a spa, where some of us had great massages. Wi-Fi was a bit spotty, but this added to the seclusion for us. There is a bar onsite for an evening drink, but the wine choices at the grocery store are incredible with prices for wine about one-third those that one would pay for the same wine in the U.S. For cyclists, the Umbrian roads are relatively free of vehicles, offering excellent cycling opportunities. The Fattoria di Vibio is wonderful. My group has already decided to return on another trip. The property, the people, and the quiet countryside make this working farm an excellent choice, especially for a prolonged stay in Umbria.
Looking for a quiet, romantic and "green" holiday location in Umbria, we found Fattoria di Vibio. It is located about 20 minutes away from Todi, in the hills, somewhat hidden away. We had our own little cottage, number 34, which is surrounded by olive trees, lavender, and rosemary. It is all set up in a way that you have enough privacy. At the same time, you feel not isolated because you know that there are other guests. Everything is very clean, decorated with great taste, and well maintained. We immediately felt at home. If we did not want to cook ourselves, we enjoyed the tasty dishes in the restaurant. The restaurant is covered outside and overlooking the hillside of Umbria. There are pools, wellness center and spa, and wine bar with great Italian wines. Back in the Netherlands, we are still thinking of our stay at the Fattoria. What a wonderful place to stay for a week or even longer! We found it difficult to leave. Thanks to Gianna and the team of the Fattoria di Vibio.

We stayed here for 9 days and were very satisfied of our stay. The staff was very friendly, and the service was of impeccable quality. Our room was a 3-person suite on the first floor, "the blue room". It was quite spacious and had a nice bathroom with bath and shower, a well-functioning air-conditioning, a fridge and, last but not least, a panoramic view. The swimming pool was clean and well maintained, and it offered a superb view on the beautiful surroundings. One of the owner's dogs was very playful and made sure that we did not get bored while swimming or sitting in the garden. The only minus is that there were quite a lot of wasps and gadflies in the pool and garden. The breakfast was partly a buffet (bread, pastries, juices, and jams) and partly a la carte (ham, cheese, and eggs). The evening dinner consisted of a 4-course meal with local and seasonal products. It always offered a choice of different starters, pasta dishes, second courses of meat and vegetables, and different desserts. I can hereby highly recommend the panna cotta. If you like good wines, there is also plenty of choice of Umbrian and other Italian wines of all price categories. After dinner, I always went for a small walk in the neighborhood and as such had a few "unexpected" encounters with some local foxes which were harmless. It was an unforgettable, but nice experience.

We had a great time last week. The scenery was magnificent, and the food was great. We were on a family vacation, and the rooms were big. Our kids loved the pool. This was a good stopping place for side trips to Umbria in the morning and with pool and relaxation in the late afternoon and evening. The place is remote, way up from the top of the mountain, which makes it quiet but difficult if you want to zip in and out of town. It's worth it given the view, but you will feel a bit secluded, which is not a bad thing - you just need to understand it upfront.
