You will be comfortably staying in a hotel for seven nights during this wine tour.
The starting point of this discovery trip of Alentejo wines will be the city of Lisbon. On the first day, Experimentar will pick you up from the airport. There is always plenty to do in the birthplace of Fado, a typical musical genre, considered as a world heritage site.
Head towards Évora, a world heritage site with numerous cultural and historical influences. The first stop will be in Vendas Novas, where you will visit a homestead dedicated to the production of wine. Then, head towards Montemor-o-Novo, where the itinerary includes a visit to the historic center or a local wine producer.
This day will be dedicated to exploring the city of Évora. Visit one of the most respected wine producers in the Alentejo, where will give you a true experience of the senses. Visit the cellar, where the production process will be explained. You will also have the opportunity to make wine and try olive oil tasting.
The journey continues to Estremoz, stopping in Évoramonte. Here, you will visit a wide range of monuments and observe many traditions that have survived to the present day. Finally, you’ll reach the town of Estremoz, known for its white houses, but also by the purity of their marbles. At the end of the day, take a walk by the city, where Experimentar will highlight the following: the Largo Dom Dinis, a thirteenth-century castle and the Paço Real, transformed into a Pousada.
This will be another day dedicated to wine and everything attached to it. Visit two of the best winemakers in the region, and on the way, discover other richness of the region - the marble. Do not forget to buy a souvenir!
Continuing your trip, follow to the town of Monsaraz. It is a region of many charms, where vineyards and the high quality of its wines has gain great prominence. Along the way, you will pass through several villages, full of points of interest. The day ends with a visit to the Castle of Monsaraz, where you can enjoy a landscape that seems almost endless.
This day will be dedicated to exploring the region. Along the way, you will visit wine producers, as well as several locations linked to the culture, history, and traditions.

This wine tour will take place in Alentejo, Portugal. Alentejo is one of the largest wine regions of Portugal. It has about 22,000 hectares, which corresponds to 10% of the total vineyard in Portugal. Weather conditions, so characteristic of this region, allow for perfect ripening of the grapes.
In the 1980s, Alentejo has undergone a major modernization of wine production, which resulted in the official demarcation of the region in 1988, and the international recognition of Alentejo wines.
