I can thoroughly recommend the Larapinta trail with Epicurious. The campsite was excellent and the food was lovely with the schedule and variety of walks well considered. The enthusiasm and knowledge of the guides was infectious. I have already recommended this tour to friends.
The Larapinta trip was fabulous. The scenery, food, company, guides and camp were all top class. I was gobsmacked by the dramatic scenery, which was not what I expected of the desert, especially the diversity of the vegetation and the enormity of the gorges. The evening meal was really yummy and as good as you would get in any fine restaurant. The guides were knowledgeable, companionable and really worked hard to make sure everyone had what they needed or wanted on the trip. The camp area was well laid out and very comfortable. The 'bird bath' or place to wash yourself was especially unique and pleasant because you had privacy but also could look out across the open spaces. I was lucky to be on tour with a great group of women as well and it was interesting to spend time with each one while walking or sitting around the fire.
Whilst there are other companies covering the Larapinta Trail, I cannot think of a single reason to travel with anyone other than Epicurious Travel. The spectacular camp site, the delicious, rather gourmet food, and the guides who are second-to-none make the whole experience one to treasure for a very long time.

Milking a goat and drinking fresh goat milk was something I never thought I would do. Seriously, the day on the boat was the highlight followed by the day at the Agrarian Kitchen. But none of it would have meant as much if we had not had Christine, who was marvelous. She was always upbeat and generous with her comments and willingness to engage. The organization and efficiency of the trip was also a highlight. Everything went very smoothly.

Helen and I did the Larapinta walk last week and we loved it. Our tour guides, Jen, Sam and Lynton were amazing young people who looked after us, cooked magnificent meals, fed us with information as we walked, sat with us around the camp fire, chatted with us and made sure that we all got on and had a wonderful time. We had a week of laughter and fun with a great group of people.

Epicurious provides by far the best, most comfortable and most enjoyable way to see the highlights of the Larapinta Trail. The small groups have a high guide to walker ratio and all 3 guides were amazing multi-talented, passionate people who love what they do and do everything remarkably well. We do not think that you can find better than the Epicurious camp. There were comfortable tents and swags, a dinning tent and superb food and drinks, as well as the very best quality ingredients and dinners that you would be proud to produce for a dinner party in your city kitchen with all the modern conveniences!
