Born in Peroguarda, Alentejo, Luis Mourão has 20 years of experience as a chef having won bronze medal at IKA culinary Olympics in Erfurt, Germany in 2000. Currently leading the kitchen of Epic Sana Algarve, he was executive chef at Convento do Espinheiro in Évora. As a chef, he has also passed through Pousadas de Portugal and the restaurant Bica do Sapato. Kitchen trainer at Turismo de Portugal and Fundação Alentejo, he had in 2012 a prominent position in the show Top Chef.
