Stayed here on the way to Costa Blanca and liked it so much, we stayed on the return journey too. If you are in Catalonia, looking for a beautiful, peaceful hotel set in wooded lawned surroundings with comfortable rooms, friendly attentive service and delicious home cooked food then this is it. Oh, and it's no dearer than those dreary chain hotels such as Campanile either! Maria and team make your stay special and I do mean, special.

The rural situation was perfect for us. It was not far off the AP7 and easy to find . Maria and Deloras made us feel very welcome. We had a room as requested on the ground floor, as we have an old Labrador with arthritis . The room opened onto the gardens and had chickens wandering freely. The simple dinner fare was wonderfully prepared and served. Ideal after our long journey. The wine went equally down very well. We sat outside and enjoyed the peace and ambiance of this peaceful haven. We have found a great place now to break up our journey from England to Denia, which we travel several times a year.

The bed was large and comfy and the microwave a nice touch.

We drove from Northern England and wanted to make the journey to Alicante magical so we took our time and stopped off at amazing places. There is nothing more magical than this truly traditional family run hotel set in a farm. The family who runs it does a perfect job and they truly make you feel very welcome.

My family and I stayed 7 nights at El Moli de Siurana from August 13-20 and loved every moment of our stay. We had Room 5, a family suite, which was spotlessly clean, very spacious and had its own balcony overlooking the well-kept gardens. We arrived to a warm welcome from Maria Sanchis Pages, who along with her sister, runs the hotel. The laid-back mood of the hotel is ideal - Maria and her hard working, friendly team are always there if you need them yet always respect your space and let you enjoy the grounds with no pressure or fussing.

Dinners are abundant with large portions, always served with a smile by the hotel's two very sweet, chatty and attentive waitresses. As a family featuring 2 vegetarians, Maria and team bent over backwards to create a vegetarian menu every evening and often double checked that what they had in mind was to our tastes. When the weather was good, dinners were served al fresco, overlooking the gardens. A highlight to every dinner was Maria's handmade herbal tea infusion, which guests can buy to take home (as we did) and whose ingredients, such as sage and lemon verbena, are either grown on the hotel grounds or handpicked from local woods.

Also, the consistently fantastic breakfast was served outside when the weather permitted, which was an idyllic treat. Maria and her sister make a line of homemade preserves (also for sale) which were served buffet style, along with cheese, cake, tomatoes, dried meats, yogurt, cereal, juice and hearty slices of toast. All in all, a wonderful, wonderful hotel which has so much to give and so much to love.

After 5 busy days in Barcelona, we (two adults and two teen daughters) came to El Moli for 5 days of beach and countryside. El Moli was a great home base. The rooms are spacious and beautiful, though a bit hot in the high heat of summer. Breakfast was very yummy, especially the fresh eggs! We had a couple of dinners which were delicious, plentiful, reasonably priced, and very peaceful on the outdoor terrace. Maria and her staff were helpful and kind throughout our stay. A definite find for folks who like to be off the beaten path in a place that is unique and personal.

After the bustle that is Barcelona, we decided to enjoy a drive to the farm of Mas Moli and rediscover the charms of a rural setting but with the comfort of a well-appointed inn. Maria greeted us warmly and we had a choice of a couple of different suites. We chose one with a small terrace overlooking the dining area. We were very happy to have decided to have dinner at El Moli as the food was delicious and authentic. It was especially nice to know that the inn provides employment for women in the family and a broadening experience for both guests and hosts. We enjoyed chatting with other guests and with the young women who served us breakfast and dinner. There is plenty to discover within a reasonable driving distance of El Moli and yet still enjoy the quiet and calm ambiance that the farm setting offers when you return from your daily adventures. It was wonderful to have such a unique place to spend a part of our vacation. I hope that we are able to return someday and we wish Maria and her team continued success with their beautiful inn.
