Really loved our stay here although we were only here for one night during a four night trip to West Texas. I've never stayed anywhere like this before. We stayed in one of the trailers. The outside shower was great! The place looks amazing at sunset. I only wish the bar was open a little later - it shut at 10pm. Only a 5 minute walk into the town of Marfa from the campsite. I would definitely recommend staying here if you're in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay here; it was different and a nice change to hotels. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable, it even had electric blankets. The site is quirky and lovely. The staff very helpful.

You need to stay here! The staff was warm and friendly upon our arrival. We stayed at Yurt 1, the set up was perfect. The hammock garden was quiet and peaceful enough to take a siesta. Get the hot tub and enjoy the sunset. The restroom and shower accommodations are perfect. I took a hot shower outside and loved it! If it's one thing I will remember, it's the bed! It has to be one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. Overall, El Cosmico was a perfect 10. I can't wait to return and stay in one of the Tepees. Thank you El Cosmico!

I have stayed in the trailers, the Teepee, and camped here on 2 different visits. The trailers have the most comfortable beds - I was asleep in minutes and slept through the night. The trailers have toilets in the trailer and outdoor showers, which are private and pretty cool way to start the morning; even if it is 60 deg outside. The teepees and campsites have an outdoor kitchen and a shower / toilet area that can be used by 2 people at a time. Since we woke up early, there were no lines for the showers. The outdoor kitchen is a few abused hotplates and pretty nice barbecue grills. The utensils and pans are few, I recommend to bring your own. We also did the evening hot tub which was very hot and relaxing; it looked like we were in a salsa bowl.

El Cosmico was great, though a little pricey at 30-odd USD for one night (and that was just for tent camping). The ground was perfect for tent camping and we could pitch our tent anywhere in the designated field area, not at a specific site. There were two toilet blocks, one at either end of the campground, with an outdoor kitchen in the middle. There was also free Wi-Fi from any of the communal points in the campground, and we could use the lobby area when it got particularly windy! So glad we stopped here, it was a wonderful couple of nights.

I took a girls' trip with two of my best pals to Marfa, in January, and our stay at El Cosmico was one of the highlights of our trip. Not only was the battleship airstream trailer spacious, as pictured, and equipped with full bathroom and kitchen, but we had a wraparound porch! No Wi-Fi in the trailer, but plenty in the lobby, and the map with telephone numbers of businesses was infinitely more helpful than Wi-Fi would have been, as Marfa stores tend to be open at odd times or not at all. The lobby shop was where I got the bulk of my souvenirs from the weekend and the staff was friendly and helpful! Loved loved loved, going back as soon as possible!
