Day 1 - Welcome to Tuscany

A driver will pick you up from Florence Airport (FLR) or train station and transfer you to a luxury boutique hotel in Florence. You will have time to unpack and relax before a welcome dinner at the hotel's Grano d’Oro restaurant, which will feature traditional Tuscan cuisine.

Day 2 - Hunting for the famous white truffle

Following breakfast, you will visit the town of San Miniato which is famous for its truffles. An expert truffle hunter and her dog will take you into the forest as you search for what is known locally as “white gold”. You will then go to a 15th-century villa to enjoy freshly made gnocchi with shavings of truffles, accompanied by Chianti wine and local specialties. Dinner will be served back in the hotel.

Day 3 - Chianti Cashmere, Michelin stars, and Chianti Classico vineyards

After breakfast, you will be on your way for a unique visit to a sustainable goat farm dedicated to producing the famous Chianti Cashmere. For lunch, you will be treated to exceptional cuisine at a Michelin-star restaurant in Badia di Passignano, with a vineyard visit and wine tastings to cap off the day. Dinner will be served back in the hotel.

Day 4 - Tuscany on a plate (cooking day)

You will start your day with a chef-guided tour of Sant’Ambrogio market. The driver will then take you to Villa La Quercia in Impruneta, a small medieval village just outside of Florence. You will be creating delicious classic Tuscan dishes during a hands-on cooking class. After all your hard work, you will have time to enjoy lunch and sip local wine as you take in the beautiful views of the gardens and olive groves. Dinner will be at a local restaurant in Florence.

Day 5 - A taste of Florence's food and culture

Following breakfast, you will meet your foodie guide for a food and cultural tasting tour. Discover hidden gems as you sample local and regional culinary delights throughout the city. Later in the afternoon, you will meet up with an art historian to learn about Michelangelo and his statue of David at the Accademia gallery. Unwind afterwards with wine tastings and dinner at Il Borro Tuscan Bistro, which is owned by the Ferragamo family.

Day 6 - A scenic wonder and Nobile wines

After breakfast, you will be driven to the scenic area of Val d’Orcia. This day will include visits to the charming village of Pienza, an organic pecorino cheese farm, and the town of Montepulciano (a must see for any wine lover) with wine tastings and local specialties at a Nobile wine producer.

Day 7 - Leisure day

You will have this day to openly wander and explore as you please. Enjoy in Florence or its surrounding area. You will gladly be assisted with any special requests to make trip arrangements. A perfect way to end the week is with a farewell dinner at Il Ristro di Lamole in Greve, complete with incredible views over the hills of Chianti.

Day 8 - Ciao Firenze

You will have private transfers to Florence Airport (FLR) or train station after an unforgettable journey together.
