    Divine meals by our chefs Thierry, Marnie, and Nicole. The hands-on cooking classes were with the freshest in-season produce. We explored historical sites, had picnics in a wine orchard and in the gardens of our chateau, we also had wine-tasting and winery tours, hearing the pride in farmers voices as they spoke of their vocation. The accommodations were delightful, all in beautiful France! It added up to the trip of a lifetime where my daughter and I spent a special time together and we made new friends.     This was a most excellent adventure. My wife and I joined Thierry and Marnie on their tour of the Prigord region in the spring of 2014. We were hosted at a magnificent historic chateau nestled in the Prigord countryside. From the minute we arrived at the local hotel in Bergerac, the day before our tour began, until we were chauffeured to the train station on our last day, our every need was attended to by our marvelous hosts.Each day was a special and memorable combination of learning, laughing, eating, and getting to know the local way of life. This culinary journey far exceeded my expectations for variety, pace, and engagement. It was a new adventure each day. Put this tour on your bucket list.
