If you are a foreigner and want to learn how to cook delicious Italian cuisine, Cucina di Classe offers the complete package for you! Accademia Leonardo has launched a project called Cucina di Classe. The project includes a course with Italian lessons held in the morning, followed by cooking classes taught by chefs who have national and international experience. Here, you will have the opportunity to learn the basic technique of Italian cuisine and taste your own dishes.

Accommodation will be in a host family, studio, shared apartment or bed and breakfast provided by Cucina di Classe, located in the historic center and very close to the school at 10 to 30-minute walking distance. Accommodation in host family will include breakfast.

Program

The course takes place from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 13:30 and is divided into two parts. From 09:00 to 11:00, the Italian course at the Accademia Leonardo will focus on professional vocabulary useful in the kitchen. Then, the cooking class will be held from 11:15 to 13:15 at the Accademia Leonardo’s kitchen. During the cooking course, students will have the opportunity to learn the basic techniques of Italian cuisine. At the end of each lesson follows the tasting.

  • Italian course: Read recipes, give instructions, describe ingredients, as well as read and understand a menu (the most important Italian restaurants and bars)
  • Cooking lesson: Rice and risotto

IV Lesson

  • Italian course: Express quantity, types of fish, and the Mediterranean diet
  • Cooking lesson: Fish

V Lesson

  • Italian course: Culture and taste
  • Cooking lesson: Meat

The course runs from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 13:15.
