Casa Fuster

You will spend one night in this iconic, Modernist building, located at the head of Barcelonas chic Passeig de Gracia avenue. Day 1 - Friday

Arrive in Barcelona, transfer to your hotel and check in

In the afternoon, explore this beautiful Mediterranean city.

Go on a walking tour of the Bari Gothic Quarter and visit the inspiring Sagrada Familia.

Meal plan: lunch and dinner.

Day 2 - Saturday

This morning, you drive about 4 hours or into the heart of the Pyrenees to the village of Biesca.

After lunch and a short briefing, you do a short 5-kilometer afternoon hike to Santa Elena. An area full of history with a Neolithic monument dating back to 3000 BC and a Napoleonic fort.

This evening, enjoy wine tasting in the village hall including local Somontano and Spains famous Rioja with local tapas dinner.

Meal plan: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Day 3 - Sunday

Ordesa with its jaw-dropping view of the 1 kilometer deep canyon is the highpoint of Pyrenees spectacular scenery!

You will go on a 4X4 wheel drive ascending 1000 meters to start hiking above the canyon.

An easier option is rim of Ordesa Canyon 10-kilometer hike with 200-meter ascent. A beautiful walk high above the canyon with truly stunning view of both the canyon and some of highest peaks in the Pyrenees along the French/Spanish border. At the end of the hike, 4X4 wheel drive brings us back to our hotel in Biesca.

A more challenging option is Ordesa and Anisclo 18-kilometer hike with 350-meter ascent and 1200-meter descent. Hike along the Ordesa Canyon rim with stunning view of both the canyon and some of highest peaks in the Pyrenees along the French/Spanish border. Then cross the alpine meadow to Anisclo, another kilometer deep canyon before descending to the village of Nerin where a short drive brings us back to Biesca.

Day 4 - Monday

Today its all about Pyrenees hiking.

An easier option is a 9-kilometer hike with 350-meter ascent. A lovely circuit walks you around Biesca countryside with pretty beech forest, beautiful alpine meadow and lovely Lake of Ibon de Pedrafita. At the end of the walk, you will be driven to Tramacastilla.

A more challenging option is a 13-kilometer hike with 400-meter ascent. A short drive takes you to the village of Pedrafita. From here, you hike through pretty beech forest, beautiful alpine meadow and lovely Lake of Ibon. Then, continue under the vast cliff of Sierra de Partacua towering 1000 meters above you. Excellent views, flowers and good spots for seeing vultures. The hike ends near Tramacastilla.

Day 5 - Tuesday

Enjoy the last relaxing morning walking around the Pyrenees before bidding farewell to the mountains.

Later on, you will drive 151 kilometers or about 2 hours to Pamplona where our exciting Bull Run adventure awaits.

Take a good rest tonight and be ready for the festival!

Day 6 - Wednesday

This morning, you enjoy a walking tour in the old town. Learn about the history and running of the bulls route, during the tour you will have chance to shop for your fiesta outfit.

At noon, you have our private balcony in front of the city hall, celebrating with the San Fermin opening ceremony.

After a light lunch, you will explore the other part of the city, with symbolic sites, like the citadel, or Monumento al Encierro.

Enjoy dinner at one of the top local restaurant, which offers the finest quality products from the region.

Afterwards, enjoy a fabulous fireworks display on a rooftop.

Day 7 - Thursday

This morning, proceed to your private balcony spot for the view of the first running of the bulls and witness the spiritual moment of the Procession of San Fermn. The most interesting things about the procession are all the different small acts along the way.

This afternoon, visit a very interesting winery in Navarra region, which combines architecture, nature, art, and wine, being situated in an idyllic landscape with the French way of chateau.

Enjoy a sit-down lunch in this beautiful property.

Late afternoon, you return to the old town and experience the traditional bull fighting at Plaza de Toros with the best seat.

After the bull fight, you spend more time to enjoy the city of fiesta. Dinner at another 1 Michelin-starred restaurant - Rodero, a family business with over 40 years of experience offering creative cuisine of the highest quality with its own identity.

Day 8 - Friday

This morning, you enjoy another private balcony view of the running of the bulls.

Return to hotel for breakfast. Check-out and drive towards San Sebastian.

Enjoy a farewell lunch in one of the hidden gem, housed in a beautiful medieval building, specializing in grilled dishes.

Transfer to the airport after lunch.
